   You either are or you arn't but you can work on being funnier.
   
   Surround yourself in comedy. Go to local shows, watch/listen to as much stand up as you can stand, watch funny movies and shows, and practice. For every laugh you get there will be 3 people who don't laugh. But don't go around quoting movies, those people are not funny. After taking in all of the comedy you can, find your own style. And practice some more.
