I just want to get ideas on How to cure lack of motivation.

Hope you could share some light here for all.

    Depends on the situation.

I struggle with fatigue; That's physical so it's a bit different.

I'm so not motivated to do housework, especially if there's lots to do - so I either put on loud music and/or just pick one small thing to do to get me started.

With other things I use other tricks. The things I try don't always work, though. I'll be interested in seeing what others have to say.

"just pick one small thing to do to get me started."

We are in the presence of brilliance!

My lack of motivation doesn't need a cure. It's feeling just fine as it is.

Inertia. Movement will overcome lack of motivation. I know this seems paradoxical and counter intuitive. It feels like you need motivation to get moving, but movement will bring the motivation where placidness will simply suppress it further and further.

Simply expressed: Fake it til you make it.

Drink 6 cans of Jolt Cola, and invite Anthony Robbins and Richard Simmons to your house.

In seriousness, action precedes motivation. If you don't want to do something chances are you link more pleasure to not doing it than doing it.

A body at rest tends to stay that way. Get moving. Simple answer.

wow..great inspirations...thanks guys and to me, I will sit back and ponder of what will keep me to stay motivated. Motivation is inner part. Motivation comes right from deep within you. Don't you think so? Need more feedbacks.

Set small, easily attainable goals. As you meet those goals, set new ones. After a while, your goals will get bigger. Start with something as simple as "I will write from 9 to 9:30 today," or "I will be showered and dressed by 9 a.m." Later in the day, set new goals.

Keep a planner and schedule all your hardest tasks during the times of day that you have the most energy. Also try to pinpoint what you're doing instead of reaching your goals (e.g. going on the internet) and try to limit your time doing it. Keep a list of your long-term goals and what you have to do to get there. Of course this is easier said than done

always have a plan and schedule but sometimes I am off the track. How to overcome this? do you have any suggestion.

Good question - Start by counting your blessings, then realise that life is too short not to be smelling the flowers and that we are all one day closer to death. Remember there are always greater and lesser people than yourself and that we all have a unique genius within us.

We are also learning it is not about striving for happiness but fulfillment. Think about this - what fulfills you, what is your ideal day? Get yourself a personal high reaching vision and, as said above, break it into small steps.

So, GO! Smell the flowers before its too late, join our group of inspiration and show the world what you can do, including a group hug!

If you feel you lack motivation, just think of your goal. If thinking of your goal does not give you motivation, perhaps the goal is not worthwhile or maybe it is not really your goal.
