Every person has at least one passion in their life, even if they do not know it yet. My experience is that when you are living your passion things happen with ease. You enjoy what you are doing. You’re in flow. It’s like the universe is supporting you in every possible way and with every step you take. People who have turned their passion into their career are generally very happy people:

Do you actually go out and find it, like a gumshoe -- or does it come when you are ready for it? Writers, for instance. They got this passion to put stuff on paper, and this "thing" has always been a part of their personality. I guess.

I does come out when I am ready for it, usually in a very synchronistic way. One thing leading to the other.

I discovered that my passion was the result of my experiences and the gifts that I have been given and developed. I know that when I am actually doing my passion I feel more alive and excited about life. Right now I am working a job and do my passion on the side but I believe soon I will be doing my passion full-time. Part of my passion is the blog realmenrock.blogspot.com.

My passion found me and it all started when I went back to college to get a social work degree and took one drawing class. BOOM it was like it grabbed me by the throat and I was smitten. I walked through that door and never looked back.

I was sitting in my third grade classroom, distracted as usual, twirling my hair and staring at my desk, wondering: "What the hell am I doing here?" When suddenly it occurred to me that all this was bullshit and all I really wanted was to be outside in the world enjoying life. That's when my passion for happiness began.

My passion is basketball. I love to watch it, play it, practice it. I used to shoot hoops for 6 hours straight by myself when I was a kid. If I was taller, I'd probably have tried to make it in the NBA as a sharp shooter.

I think I am a very passionate person. Perhaps too passionate--I know my passion sometimes gets me in trouble.

My only real passion these days is launching The Melindaville Foundation, a nonprofit organization that will help the most hopeless of drug addicts (and particularly those working in the sex industry) get into treatment and from there, to fund college or other job training. I hope to give others the same second chance I was given when I finally became clean from heroin over 15 years ago. This passion drives everything I do today.

That is a very good thing you do. It seems you had to go through all of that to become the person you are now, able to help all the others.

I like to think passions are developed, not innate. Talents, however, are innate. When a talent and a passion coincide, it is called being gifted.

My passion for this time is photography .I think if you want to find that passion, then you have to work for it. one way or another our interest for something wanes because of work. but then again, being around people who dig the same stuff we do, will rekindle that passion.

I think most people think they can only be one thing and have yet to discover they are many things
we have a tendency to do one great thing and think oh well thats it
and when they do 'get' this the passion will come

I packed my passion in a suitcase and sunk it in the river.

I have a number of deep interests and concerns, but only one real passion. While I can't say that everything works in harmony, at least I am not operating in ignorance of what it is that moves me.

Passion without reason is the way to misery.

When you are willing to do for FREE...then most probably that will be your passion.

In 54 years I haven't found a passion, or it hasn't found me. Other than my kids, that is. I can't imagine one that would be better than that. Maybe that's why I don't have any others.

I believe everyone has been given a dream that they can be passionate about. For some it is found within being the best mom or dad they can be. For others it is not quite as big of a dream such as running a big business. For me I found that my dream and my passion came from my past and involved serving other people. I hope you all find your dream and become passionate about living it.

My passion is perfectionism. To be best at all the things I come across in life. Mostly for independence and freedom. Though perfection is vague, So one could say I want to have many qualities :)...
