How To Have a Good Phone Conversation. Whats Your Way Of Doing It?

Im doing a research on this,how to have a good phone conversation that people will remember you.
What do you guys think about this and whats your way of doing it?

be polite and dont hang up mad. I do not use the phone all that often I talk to people on the computer and in person but if I amon the phone I am always polite. -

Actually there r so many predefined manners and styles for a phone conversation.I am not sure we tend to use it in a friend's call.
As far as style is concerned,it is very good that you use the phone privatly.
*attend and greet the caller with a smile and a welcome.
*start with pleasenting topics.
*don't make a conversation bored with intervals and holdings.
*open yourself through phone.
*talk according to the surroundings.
*give them hint of calling again at the end.
*end the call with hopeful words
*try to be friendly in phone conversations.
Be genuine and friendly in phone conversations,i've seen many misunderstandings because of just inappropriate phoney talks.

Well my mom sent me to finishing school. So no matter how hard I try, if the person called me first he/she has 2 say bye 1st-

Yea..its just a little 6 week finishing school. You know to teach you how to be a proper southern belle...shhhh I do use it when it benefits me,but I rather just not be a snob

It pays to not be a man, we talk in grunts and the conversation is normally over in less than a minute. -

Unless talking to a girl we like and then our voices go up a few octives and we end up talking for ages about sappy stuff like kittens and flowers and popouri
