Nice Answer - Great content will keep your visitors.

Rude Answer - Writer better content than the stuff you writing now.

I'm still trying to figure out how to improve this, but I think content is the most important, followed by having a nice welcoming design. Have a focus for your site and stick to it and if someone comments, be sure to comment back and even visit there site if you have a chance.

The most loyal readers I have are those who I visit their site on a regular basis as well.

You can use graphically perfect images for RSS/XML feeds to make people click and subscribe to your blog.
Or you can add mail subscription boxes.

I really like it when the owner of a blog (Especially with personal content blog) communicates with the readers.

I have stopped reading two blogs because:

Blog A: Been following this blog for quite a while. Left comments/supports/job suggestions once in a while as the blogger kept complaining about his life, being jobless, love life etc. But he did not communicate back to me. In result, I felt like a wooden lifeless log. I was the only person who left comments in his blog. Maybe he is not the type that is looking for readers. Maybe he only wants to rant and nothing more. Thus I packed my luggage and left his blog. With a broken heart.

Blog B - A really interesting personal blog that I have been following for quite a while. Recently he posted a post about purchasing a new Fujitsu camera and so I left a comment. I asked if its possible for him to snap few photos as I have never used a Fujitsu camera before. He can simply say no but nope, he deleted my comment. Strange way to respond to a reader.A really big turn off for me.

      Deleting comments quite rude!!
By the way since i moved my blog another URL, i cannot have kept the comments left before December. It wasn't my fault.
Sorry for a few deleted comments in my blog :((

I don't MAKE them, I give 'em what they want and leave 'em wanting more.

Thank for the reply, however I'm wondering how to create a good content. What we need to create a good content ?

Aside from creating good content that's unique and cannot be found in other blogs, I would say that visiting your readers' blogs and leaving comments on their posts is a good method of getting them to return to your blog.

I feel attracted if a blog has a clean look and is neatly arranged.
A lot of blogs are too confusing imo.

Thanks for the sincere comments. It is difficult to tell what people want coz it's really subjective isn't it.
