How to make Southern Fried Green Tomatoes

My daughter begged me to make some Fried green tomatoes. So I posted about them and how to make them step by step.
Do you like fried green tomatoes? If so what are the best ones you ever had? At a resturant, at home, at your moms or grandmothers.

(Gravenstein) and green tomato slices together.
Spicy Dip
* 1 cup mayonnaise – preferably homemade using extra virgin olive oil
* 1 Tablespoons Dijon or Creole mustard
* 1 scallion, minced white and light green parts only
* 2 Tablespoons minced fresh tarragon or chervil
* 2 Tablespoons minced fresh parsley, rinsed and squeezed dry
* 1/2 Teaspoon freshly ground black pepper-
