Hello bloggers,
I came across so many inquiries about how to upload files (.pdf, .doc, .ppt etc.) to a blog post so that visitors can download them directly from your blog?
So I have written a post on all the resources you can use to upload files to your Blog Post.

This is not accurate. Bloggers with wordpress.com blogs can upload the following file types:
- WordPress.com blog:
Images
.jpg
.jpeg
.png
.gif
Documents
.pdf (Portable Document Format; Adobe Acrobat)
.doc, .docx (Microsoft Word Document)
.ppt, .pptx (Microsoft PowerPoint Presentation)
.odt (OpenDocument Text Document)
Additional File Types
With the purchase of the space upgrade support.wordpress.com/space-upgrade/ you are also permitted to upload the following audio and video file types:
.avi
.ogg
.m4a
.mov
.mp3
.mp4
.mpg
.wav
.wmv

But this article has been written for blogs supported by Blogger where you can only upload pictures and videos but not any other file type.

The easiest way to do this using rapidshare, MediaFire etc.. free file hoisting site!!

I prefer Boxstr, it not only allows to upload files but also allows you to hotlink files...something which is very necessary for me ! -
i use FTP software Filezilla (free!) to upload files to my blog.

I also use filezilla. FileZilla is open source software distributed free of charge under the terms of the GNU General Public License.
