Shopping is something we all do on weekends to stock up our groceries and other daily necessities.
What else besides shopping do you do on a weekend that you never get a chance to on your routine weekdays??
What special do you do in your blogs or the blogging world that you fail to do on weekdays???
Share your weekend adventures and chores for all to know what more can be done on weekends besides relaxing....

it's funny that this topic came up just now because I just blogged about something I never have before, since I usually do my blogging at work, during the week.
I just heard my upstairs neighbor having sex.
I feel I shall be plagued with nightmares. And before you say "come on, it was just sex"...
You have not seen my neighbors.

I use the weekend nights to take my site offline for updates/backups. Other than that, I try not to blog on weekends unless an important news item comes up. I try to spend more time with my family and taking care of domestic chores.

I commit to updating every workday - to date, I've usually posted something on Saturday because I have a bit more time but don't always - depends how busy I am. Often I'll write two or three posts for the rest of the week on a Sunday morning - for those days when I feel tired or am busy.

No different for me, I still give as much time as possible to the kids and catch up with jobs that need to be fixed around the home, Blogging has always been something to do after the kids have gone to bed.

Lately I've been using a new scheduling feature to try and get posts ready to go on the weekend so I have less to worry about during a hectic work week.

My weekends are reserved for my family. I trim my time online A BUNCH and dedicate more time to my girls. My wife and daughter are far more interesting than this lit box I stare at all week, besides it is much easier to maintain focus and build thoughts or ideas for future blogs by taking a little downtime.
Unless I post something for future publishing, I don't post anything on a weekend. I try to fill my sites with great content during the week, and refuel on Saturday and Sunday. -

Wrong. I never shop in malls or supermarkets on weekends for daily necessities or anything else either. I do shop at the farmer's market on Saturday mornings - early. On weekends the stores are crowded with people who do the weekday 9-5 jobs and all the produce and fruit is picked over. I find the best supermarket food shopping times are on Fridays at about 10 AM as by then all the fresh produce is out. When it comes to any other shopping like for clothes , hardware or whatever I never shop on weekends either. Too many people, too much stress, not enough parking and I'm self employed so I can choose when to go.

I get to socialize with friends who work from 9-5 all week during daylight hours rather than in the evenings only.

I do blog on weekends from time to time but I usually comment more than I blog on weekends. My hits drop by about 200 visitors every weekend on both blogs so I don't usually post any long or important articles on weekends. I have found that they best time to showcase articles that a lot of work has gone into is on Wednesday night or early Thursday morning. -
Yeah, I'm with TT on this one, I wouldn't venture into a mall on any day let alone a weekend lol. I usually pick up groceries during the week, after 11pm, less crowded.
Sometimes I have a bit more time on the weekends so I catch up with reading blogs, but it's not that much different from the rest of the week. -
Am I the only one that only has time on the weekends to post for the most part? My weekdays are CRAZY at this time. I wish I could do more during the week. I agree that my posts might get paid more attention if I put themon in the middle of the week. MAYBE someday I'll have the time and energy on weekdays.
