Well, definately more traffic would mean better income but only if you do other things along with it. I can´t state the CTR (google laws) but nce in a google dance (where google shuffles their results) my traffic when down but my ctr wen up and I am talking incredibly high. I though something was wrong but the reason was that google only left my keyword words in the serach to find my blog. Therefore while my hits dropped like a whooping 70% my earnings stayed the same and my ctr grew like crazy. So, of course, it is good to have great traffic but you might be getting traffic that is by people who google other words and just stayed in your site 1 sec.

UMM... well, if I were to get to your site I would go away from it because the first 2 things I see is 2 big ads. Usually people who see ads put on thier face just go away. I would suggest you put them in your posts. You have to make your ads an asset for your visitors and not a liability. I think ads can help them but in my opinion you have the ads not in its best place. Also, take a look at your "competition" and see what they are doing. DO you have a niche? How are you in google search. Have you set up your key terms? The more you narrow your target market the better results.
Also, you have an own domain, why stick to blogger and not go with wordpress? Anyway, some tips that may help good luck. -
DO you know how to put them in your posts? It woulod be good to have ads on (example the samsung camera) besides it in your post. Then people reading it might click on the adsa for more info being a benefit for them those ads
Edit: I am not on my laptop and am on a IE version 6 with and couldn´t see your left side bar (where I can see them at the end of the page) I see you have some ads there. Well, I know most people have widescreens and and IE 7 but you can´t imagine how many people stay and don´t change. Check on that issue by looking at your stats (statcounter) and see how many people use IE6 because if it is a high percentage then you might have to change the theme. I know IE sucks, why doesnt everyone use Firefox! -

Good call, direct link that I use to parse and not have to go through the pain of altering your code.

Then just place it in the html layout (expand) belose the header post. Also use the float attribute

Its all to do with placement mostly, dont just add adsense with out thinking about it first. For every ad you add always have a seperate channel for each one and name them after the ad you are placing. IE Ad top right 250x250 etc
That way you can check after a few days and see what is working and what isnt -
