I live in Canada and would like to believe I have my pulse on how things are run here within reason. I don't recall ever having heard of such abuse. I'm guessing you are a visible minority who is claiming that racism runs rampant in the government and law enforcement agencies.-
I am not claiming, this is a fact. There are countless information on this if you are so inclined to be educated on this issue. It is interesting that you have also mentioned that minorities are the focus of this kind of treatment. On that you are right again. All marginalized groups in Canada has faced some kind of discrimination and some of those groups has also been subjected to the abuse of their human rights during that process. It is generally acknowleged that systematic racism is a factor in the Canadian judicial system and as far as the police is also concerned they also primarily go after specific (minority)groups as well. These are all documented facts. What is also less known is the torture of people in that country also and this has crossed all racial barriers and has included pretty much anyone that this government feels that it has a right to target. It is this kind of human rights violations that I have exposed on my blog and there are other blogs like it that has revealed this action by that government. It is intended to educate the public on the true issues surrounding human rights abuse in Canada which is also not being investigated by other Human Rights Organizations in that country such as Amnesty International and others. Hence the revelations on these social sites to give more awareness to the problems that are faced by those in that country who are targeted by the Canadian government or by the police, which is the same thing.

You can find human rights abuses any where, any time, if you look hard enough. The only places you can't find human rights abuses is where you are forbidden to look for them.
