For the past two or three days getting to my blogs there has been impossible, and now it's beginning to carry over into other people's blogs there! No one seems to be fixing anything and it is getting worse! I can get to my Blogger Sign-in, but cannot see what I'm working in the final stages.

How do I get through to Blogger (Actual people) to get help because according to the HELP FORUM there are quite a few of us that are dealing with this issue and it's a growing problem.

I'm beginning to feel like there is no one there who even wants to help.

Okay, my son/computer guru came over and took a look at this box. He eliminated some of the running programs that I have no idea where they came from fine tuned the rest and it is back to running - almost normal again. I sure wish I understood how things all of a sudden shoe up when you don add them! (i.e. I have AVG, I found out I have all these extras from them!!)

LOL. I was going to say that I've never had a problem with Blogger.

Perhaps your son found the problem and cured it or not. You aren't alone when it comes to having issues with Blogger. There have been others who have been posting about difficulties with Blogger in the last couple of days. They approached Blogger staff and got an email saying that there was a known issue that was being worked on. I have to go out but I'll try and find the link for you if you wait.

They still have the flag when I sign in on my blogs in the url.

They never took it down. It is from a problem I had long ago.

Your post will be removed if you drop your link in these discussions and it is clear that the only reason you are doing it is to get click throughs.

So please do not ask why your post was removed if you left your link.

There's an issue going on between Blogger & IE for some reason - Google says they're working on a solution, but it's taking a really long time! I have to switch to Chrome when I want to work on my blog, or surf others' - it's a really a pain, and I'm wondering how much traffic we're all losing because of this!

Meanwhile, if you have another browser besides IE, use it

That's strange. I have IE at work and have not been having trouble accessing my blogs, either to edit/create posts or to view them. The only thing that doesn't work is the "Create Post" button on my dashboard, but if I go in to edit posts the Create button there works fine.

Edited to say, "Nevermind." I just read your next post and I don't have a followers widget on either of my blogs.

Okay, I just re-read Google's Known Issues post about that problem with IE, and here's what it says:

Some users are seeing an 'Operation Aborted' error message when trying to load their blogs from Internet Explorer. We're looking into this and will update this message when we have a fix.

    We apologize for the inconvenience.

Update (May 26): We are still working on resolving this bug. This only affects viewers using IE to view the blog; for right now, blog owners can either move the Followers gadget lower in their sidebar, or remove it altogether. Either action will eliminate the pop-up dialog box in IE.

We will update this post when a fix has been made.

So I did what they suggested - moved my Follwers widget down to near the bottom of the sidebar, and it seems to work. So far. Keeping my fingers crossed!

This issue is happening with blogs outside of blogger. I had this issue too. I switched from IE to firefox and now all is well.

The issue stopped happening now that i am using Google Chrome. I think i will stick with this for a long time.

Me too!!!!! I finally gave up on Firefox, and IE and with Chrome it is all gone!! I LOVE GOOGLE CHROME!!

@Shiley & celticmusician - yes. switching browsers works for us, but I worry about losing my traffic - most of my readers can barely find a link to click on, and wouldn't know a browser from a bookmark! I shudder to think how many have gotten that error message & turned away for good. I wish Google would fix this for everybody!
