I succumbed. I was hungry. It was convenient...and it was fast.

I whipped through the drive-thru and got a breakfast croissant and a cup of coffee.

My drive to work was complete.

How do you get rid of those fast food cravings?

TBR, what is up with your dietary intake lately and telling the BC community?

Even you should know that life is more than food and drink.

For the record, I'm eating hummus and wheat crackers right now. Yummy.

My intake is an on-again, off-again love affair with food. I thought you guys could hold me accountable!

YOU are definitely right about life being about more than food and drink! I just thought this makes for fascinating reading....or I could quote scripture!

      I think I will!

"Do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own; you were bought at a price. Therefore honor God with your body" 1 Corinthians 6:19,20

BTW...how do you develop an appetite for hummus?

      No bueno for me!

I still haven't gotten around to eating the chocolate yet LOL! and now we are onto fast food brekkers.

      Ya, I'm terrible.

TBR, there are a host of forums out there dealing with diet - just type "diet forum" into google. Keep focused on your journey, in the spirit and in the flesh.

Hummus: I've always loved hummus, from the very first bite.

Regarding fast food, just drive by.

What are you trying to tell me? My diet is not BC general discussion material?

Why not post about the "bread" and "water"?

For we know that man doesn't live by bread alone...
    3. TheBigRuski
I could post all day long about bread and water.

Jack in the Box always seemed like a poor man's McDonald's to me - which isn't saying much if a Big Mac is tops. It's the same deal. Burgers, fries, semi-freaky burger pushing clown.
    1. TheBigRuski
But have you seen the healthy menu section?

Jack in the Box has a lot of nicknames: The Crack Shack, Jack in the Crack, Crack in the Box, Heart-Attack in the Box, few others I'm sure I've heard somewhere.

Point is the stuff is so addicting, hence the word "Crack" appearing frequently.
    3. TheBigRuski
      good point!

I never had Jack in the Box until I was working down in Louisiana after Hurricane Katrina......I got addicted, and now, back in Tennessee, I am lost and alone...without a fast food friend.

Are you telling me there is no fast food in your neck of the woods?

    Mmm their coffee is yummy...

I've been known to slam down Three ultimate cheeseburgers plus a large curly fry in one sitting. It helps to just wash it all down with packets of hot sauce and ranch.

Those two tacos for a buck are soooo addicting too. One time I ate like 20 of em.
    1. libdrone
damn, but you do make it sound so good...

Oh yeah, they're on Every block here in Orange County too. Most of them have ultimate cheeseburgers for 2 bucks each, normally around 3 something. I still can't decide if In-N-Out or Jacks has better fries. Both are equally good for different reasons. I just drench curly fries in Mayonaise, Hot Sauce, Salsa, Ketchup, Ranch and everything but what's in the toilet. But those two tacos for a buck? Man....They look rotten, they're downright messy and smell plain awful, but just something about em that keeps me hooked.

Personally, Jack's coffee is just as good as Mcd's. They only have two sizes: Large and Larger. Get two "Ultimate Breakfast Sandwich" combos for yourself and have the coffee. The refills are free too, in most of the places they have self-serve.

      I can't eat like that!

      I've pretty much x-nayed on the fries-nay.
