The drugs didn't really age me as they do some people, really--of course, we age very gracefully in my family. My mother easily can pass for 20 years younger than her age. I think it is my 1/2 Egyptian heritage.

you can resize the image by writing in

remove the extra " at the end and take out the spaces between the "< and img" and the "/ and the >"

Because I'd never done it before...
I was cutting my hair one night and decided "What the heck!" and 2 very long hours later I was bald! I blunted 5 razors on that head of mine, my hair is so thick! -
and even without having practiced on your legs in so long

I've only ever shaved my head once with a razor (with hair clippers, lots of times). I cut myself a few times. One, I remember, I got a pretty good little scab from.

Very nice Epi. I dated a girl who shaved her head. She had great eyes and lips too. Intimidated the hell out of most guys and she was a fiery pistol so it was fun to watch. She actually got tons of positive comments from women(especially older)everywhere we went.

Well, Rory--we travel a lot--and sometimes do get to Toronto. If we're going to be in the area, I'll give you guys a PM and perhaps we can all go out to lunch and then you and my husband can play golf and Cathy and I can have some *real* fun--shopping or going to a spa!
I don't really like golf very much--I go 2 - 3 times per year with my husband. I really suck at it. -
LOL ... I wish I had the time and $$ to play as much as I wish I could. I could probably do the 12 vs 18 holes against you! LOLOL

@Rory--Yes, we travel quite a bit--my husband travels a LOT for his company and I often accompany him. And if you guys get to Boston or SF, you must let me know.
Toronto is a wonderful city--one of my favorites in Canada. I don't know which I like more: Vancouver or Toronto--they are both great. -

But who knows Melinda....we have a few job irons in the fire and we could see ourselves anywhere in the world. We will keep you posted! -

I'm a guitarist too, Rainhat! I have played since I was 8. Used to be in a band (punk). These days, I jam--mostly blues and jazz--with my wonderful husband who is a world class jazz pianist.

@ melinda: How cool is that!!! I would love to join a jam session :)! Usually me and my two sisters are jamming. One plays the guitar a little bit, but plays the piano wonderfully! She recently started composing own pieces. The other sister sings and I usually sing and dance around haha. It's a lot of fun!

Well, TJlubrano--if you are ever in Boston (when we are there--we are bicoastal and live in San FRancisco half the time), you can come over any Saturday night and jam with us. We have a few friends over, usually, and play music. I love playing--keeps me sane and always has.

I actually play a little drums too. When I was in the band, I played drums on 3 songs that our regular drummer sang lead on. I'm a much better guitarist that drummer, though.

@Melinda: Awesome! I've been playing guitar since I was around 13. I started taking some jazz lessons a few years ago, it's loads of fun.
I play the drums too, my brother is a drummer. Every time he had a drum lesson I used to sneak down and practise his homework and learn it too.

- Thank you for the kind words. My hair is dyed. It used to be very dark strawberry blonde but as I aged it went darker. I tried to dye it as close as I could to my natural color - last avatar but then I decided it didn't look good and I wanted to cut it shorter anyway. I consulted my hairstylist and we went for it. We covered the gray and cut it ultra short. I'm not ready for gray hair yet ... lol

- Ummm ... no make-up is easy. I rarely wear it unless I'm going out and then I use it sparingly. When you can't see well purring it on is a chore. PJ's are more difficult. I don't wear them unless I'm in the hospital.

I'd say taht the first photo would be good for your "About Me", as it shows you doing the work with tools and other useful implements in the background. I'm thinking a more "head shot" pic for the sidebar, unless hubby does the work as well and then you should both be in it. There'll be shots of the stunning work you've done in the body of the site, right?
