hi chief,
given your URL, i was expecting your blog to have content related to the everyday injustices of the common people, as i was thinking on the lines of contemporary-everyday-tragedies-of-the-common-people. But i was surprised by the content your blog has.
Your blog entries which are mostly oil related, seem to play a huge role in providing you with subject matter to blog about. Even some aspects of your everyday life are affected by oil/energy related issues. I hardly find myself being able to relate to your blog, but i can see, with my flawed insight, your blog entires are worrisome towards a potential future oil/energy crisis.
I find your 7 dollar gas article to be heart-wrenching (i'm not an american, but i can sympathize how bad the potential situation could get). That article is one of my favorites from your blog. I find your articles related to vegetables and gardening and rather endearing and interesting. I never knew tomatoes can get into so much trouble.
I see no problems with your blog's design and feel, i don't usually care much about stuff like that, but the color scheme seems to fit your blog nicely.
All in all, your blog is an interesting read. I know that there is an oil crisis going on, but i'd never expect a blog like yours go into the little details of that and of oil concerns. Keep on blogging !
Oh, and hug oscar for me please. -
Thanks for the kind review...I find the parable of the 'tragedy of the commons' can be applied to many of the world's problems. Not only resource shortages, but environmental degradation and even financial crises as well. Anytime there is a shared public resource that has little to no incentive to be conserved, there is a possibility for trouble. Sometimes you just have to have a few posts for laughs though...lest the discussion get too heavy.

Hi, I also don't mind you reviewing my blog in detail. Honest

Thanks-
hi GK16,
Your blog is a varied mix of content, a few of which i find hilarious yet i can understand your point of view. I notice you don't write much articles on this blog though.
The design and feel of your blog, gives me the impression of a very personal blog, or maybe it's because of your endearing articles of killing cockcroaches unintentionally or being incredibly genius on alternate usage of expired toiletries. Those articles stand out more than any other on your blog. I think your blog entries, should contain more of that, i believe it will draw more people to read about your everyday misadventures. Or maybe you can blog more about your cats......
However, i can't relate much to some of your articles, as they are related to several sites that promotes better web site ranks and reviewing your neighbour's pet.
I can't say much about your blog, though some of your entries provided a good laugh. I want to see more of it !

Almost 3 years of content and only the stuff from 2007 and 2008 is really worth reading.-
hi kobra,
I've read some of your recent blog entries, including the ones of which you have showcased it to be the very best. I have the impression that your blog is very antagonistic towards some sub cultures and some groups of people, i have no say over your own opinions on that, though on some articles, i could see the point you're driving at.
I find that the "emo" blog entry, is the article that has compelled me to read it repeatedly. Your personal dislike for this sub culture is strongly felt on the article, your writing style, is such that you can articulately word out and describe your negative emotions very well. That is one of your strengths i noticed.
I don't see any problems with your blog design, though you may wish to consult more people on how to improve on it. Note that in my previous entries that i don't really focus and elaborate on design so much.
A blog like yours focuses on a very judgemental, negative audience. There would inevitably be some people who actually emotionally feed off the hateful vibes in your articles, and those who deliberately try to find a reason to hate you and find pleasure to become your potential detractors.
Now, i have never takened the initiative to read such blogs similar to yours, but when i do at very rare moments, the experience can be an eye opener. Your blog entries have succeeded in showing me your point of perspective in a justified way, although with much anger and sarcasm, it can get very overwhelming for me.
I would from time to time, pop by your blog out of curiousity. I might want to study your way of writing style which is inspired by anger and very strong emotions.
P.S: I have only enough time to write this one review, but stay tuned as i continue to write more tommmorrow.

hi PH,
It's been a long time ever since I've read lines of programming codes.
It reminds me of the heart wrenching experiences when i was pursuing a diploma of computer engineering.
Your blog entries mostly contain mostly program codes that cater to several needs and situations. Being a programmer myself, i am able to appreciate the clear presentation of your program codes. Are the program codes based on Java or C++ ?
However, one of the articles that caught my attention, is the pascal rose essay. It is an article that i can identify with and bear deep feelings for. I believe you have truly captured the essence of the Novel: Pascale Roze and summarized it beautifully. I would never have expected to find something like that in your blog. That is my favourite blog entry on your blog.
When i first accessed your blog, there were some noises that seemed to be coming from one or two of your embedded flash games. I don't usually mind things like that, but some people would prefer to read blogs in silence or listen to their own music.
I think your blog design is sweet looking, with flowers and all, though i was expecting something less feminine looking for your blog.
I may not be an active computer programmer anymore, but i hope that you will continue to churn out more sample program codes to help other struggling computer programming students (like i was before) and give them ideas to help them in their schoolwork. I also hope to see more in depth summmaries of the books you've read. Keep it up ! -
Seeing as he posts under vb.6 and vb.net categories I think it's safe to assume; neither....

hi g,
Given that your blog is heavily opinionated on several subjects that revolves around the way of life, i find myself wanting to read more of your blog entries. Your blog entries paint a positive ideal towards the subject heading and which i personally can identify with. Knowing this, i am looking forward to read more in depth articles which addresses several issues that stay close to my heart.
Like your article on lying, i find myself agreeing with everything you've written in that article. It is my favourite entry in your blog. It is food for thought and food for the soul. Those who are fortunate enough to stumble on it, will find themselves browsing through, reading worthwhile content that could help better their lives. Personally, i always believed that nothing could go wrong when you build oneself and base everything in your life on the truth.
One of your blog's strengths is the collective number of writers who contribute with numerous blog entries. Definitely, having many minds is better than depending on one alone. What is even more impressive is that your colleagues seem to share the same mentality when writing articles. All of you complement each other well in this aspect.
I have no problems with the design of your blog, i find it to be quite normal. You may ask more people to provide feedback about your blog's design.
All in all, i find that your blog is one that i would visit regularly. We're all searching for true definitive answers in our lives, and to some extent, be a better person everyday. Your blog in that respect, aids such individuals who are searching constantly for these things to lean on. Keep churning up these articles, because i also am lost at times, not knowing what is the best for myself.

hi bob,
I'm feeling a whole lot of republican vibes from your blog. I am not an american, but i can identify myself being a true blue republican the very day George W Bush took action against terrorism.
But that is only because those who are responsible for terrorism at that time, were almost impossible to negotiate with. If only everything can be solved over a chit-chat session and high quality grade coffee........oh well..... times are changing.....who knows....
One of your blog entries, the difference between john, hilary and obama, is one of the my favourite and most impressionable article i can identify myself with. Hell, i'd even give that poor suffering man more than $20. It is one of my favourite blog entries on your blog. I wouldn't mind having Obama by my side, cheering me on endlessly in everything i do.
Some or most of your articles, seem to highlight alot of injustices that were commited towards good honest americans. It is sad having to know how a marine was killed because of "peanuts". It is a good read though, it was very enlightening knowing the ugly side of american society. I believe that the both of us would wish the very best to come into the lives of all americans.
I have no problems with your blog design, it is clean, clear cut. Perfect design for your subject matter.
All in all, i felt that your blog entries were filled with conviction and strong feelings about matters related to the United States. I wouldn't mind reading your blog again, just to capture new insights into a ever changing United States of America.
So...... continue to keep writing, ok ? Good work.
P.S: I'm so dammned tired after writing my reviews..... maybe its that whiskey/coke cocktail i'm drinking now......

..Hmm, this could be fun !
Well, mine is a bit of a personal blogs sort of thing..see what you make of it:

Hi Saumendra,
I can comfortably identify some characteristics of myself in some of your blog entries (the most recent ones since april). Perhaps, you are like an everyday philosopher like i am ? One who is able to sense the subtle mysteries of even the most insignificant events, like the falling of a leaf ?
Or maybe its probably because of your disillusion towards the supposedly unsympathetic "leaders" in your life, who probably refuse to acknowledge the contemporary situation, the new generation have to face.
But that question aside, i find your blog contains much things that stay very close to my heart. I wouldn't mind, wishing that i was riding on the rickshaw, enjoying the fireflies in pitch black darkness. You've describe your feelings very beautifully that it stirs an incomprehensive satisfaction within.
I believe you have unintentionally blogged without knowing how much of your written contemplative thoughts, has perhaps touched a select few people who are able to identify themselves with the way you felt about your everyday experiences as well. That in itself, is a beautiful mystery.
I have no issues with your blog design. Your design is actually perfect, perfect for a blog like yours. You can never go wrong with black and white for the most part.
I will be personally visiting your blog often to read more of your entries. Most likely i'll be reading your past entries to read more of your insights and to read of your feelings of everyday experiences captured in poetic words.

My blog will make you wonder whatever happened to predictability, the milkman, the paper boy and evening tv.

Hi CLA,
I don't know anything about Full House, but i can identify with some of your personal thoughts/moments you have expressed through your blog, that are mostly related to Full House. I also believe that you are a rather straightforward person, a trait which i find admirable when it comes to the everyday people i meet.
I liked the latest blog entry: Heroes. I see your point about how flawless a Dead Hero can be. I guess that's only because they aren't living anymore to screw up, make mistakes and make a fool of himself. I kind of think Dave Grohl is awesome though, however i only listen to his Foo Fighter songs only, i never got to listen to his Nirvana performances.
I find it rather interesting and insightful when you can relate a show like Full House to your personal experiences and life's lessons, and write it on your blog. For me, i read alot, and i find myself in the same boat as you are when i read a book when it's subject is something that i can relate to.
I don't find any problems with your graphical design of your blog. I see it to be of a normal design, with no visual hindrance.
All in all, your blog is a very personal one with a interesting twist to it, and with a few surprises. Have you posted your blog URL on some Full House fan forum ? I'd believe that it'll be a good move, if you haven't already, just suggesting.

hello! I'm a new blogger & I would like a review of my blog too please..so I would know what's missing or any corrections..thanks!

Hi NyceLady,
I find your blog a mixture of videos, fun jokes, inspiring informative articles, personal blog entries similar to my previous personal blog. I grew weary of my previous blogging style which was similar to yours, however i can identify with your current style of blogging.
As much as i am guilty of not eating a healthy breakfast and not even having breakfast at all most of the time, i often find myself eating away at hot cups of Japanese green tea.
I find that your article about Helen Keller's 10 Most Inspiring Quotes to be my favorite article on your blog. Every now and then, we would feel the need to read the phrases/words carefully weaved by inspiring people, rest on their collective wisdom and learn from it. Articles of that nature are one of my favorites when i happen to have free time to read other blogs in my free time. I'd like to see more of articles of that nature on your future blog entries.
I find your blog's design to be a little overfilled with a little too many applications on the left and right sides of your blog. It is not an eyesore for me, but i am guessing that it might put off some people who would stumble on your blog. I don't find your header, blog color scheme to have any design problems, as they go quite well with your blog.
In short, your blog is a huge mix of articles, which contains different types of articles that might cater to the tastes of everyone who would read through your blog, though i believe some bloggers like me would prefer to read blogs of a specific subject.
But it really depends on who your target audience/readers are. I do not know any better, but i'm guessing there are bloggers who would like to read blogs like yours and maybe they would form a very strong contingent of readers, waiting to read inspiring articles posted by you.
Take care of yourself, and happy blogging.

Hi Rajesh,
I find your blog a little similar in style with Saumendra's blog. There is a significant emphasis on several subjects on Yoga, Tips on healthy living and varied content related to some slight philosophical content. I am not a practitioner of Yoga, but there are some non-religious health practices that the Indians have developed and cultured which have impressed me much. I would like to see future articles touching on this subject in the future.
I personally like blogs with content like yours, the trouble that i have is that it is hard for me to come by such a blog on the internet, furthermore blogs like yours are rarely placed in the spotlight. I can say the same for Saumendra's blog.
My favorite article is the Village: Zen Story. I always have a soft spot for down to earth, simple stories which emphasizes on the simplicity of life and how beautiful life can be by just living on the basics. If i would wish it, i would like to live like that too. At the very most, for a city boy like me, that story would merely serve as a countryside fantasy daydream.
I do not have any problems with the design and color scheme of your blog, as it is presentable. Though i would feel a classic white background with black words would be a nice change for your blog.
I think your blog's strength is in the quality of the subjects that you post about, it would be wise if you were to focus intensively on writing out good quality blog entries. Till then, keep on blogging !
