I finally made the magic $100.00!

It's taken a very long time, years in fact, but I finally crossed the magic payout number of $100.00 for AdSense!

It makes me a little giddy!

Not that I haven't made far more than that using other tools, but it just feels so bloody good!

  Not yet, no. I crossed the line this morning, so the check will take about 1 month to get here if I read their payment schedule correctly. I'm going to frame that sucker!

  Next target is another payout within 6 months. I think it might just be doable now that traffic is more constant

  oh! you never know .. it may be sooner than you think .. that's the nice thing about time .. it really does get better over time, and takes less effort. You'll see!

Congratulations! I was just wondering, what are those "other tools" you've used that made you more than Adsense. So far, only Adsense seems to be working for me.

  Primarily I use PayPerPost (soon to be SocialSpark) on my smaller blogs. I usually net a few hundred a month using their services. I could earn more, I just haen't seen a need to so far.
  
  I would honestly prefer to get to the point that I don't have to use PPP on my main blog at all, but financially speaking, the income has kepst the household flowing a few times. (Mine is the second income). I do notice as my traffic increases that AdSense performs consistently better

I was getting all excited to get my first $100 check this month, but I just got a note from them saying my account was suspended for click fraud. Wha??? I don't click on my own ads and I only encourage readers to click on links that interest them. It's crazy - now they won't pay me!

  I just had someone else tell me the same thing. Good to know - but it may be too late. How is Adsense supposed to work if people don't know they are ads that can be clicked on?

  I just left a comment on your blog on this, but it could be that because you posted an article on how much money you're making with AdSense (even a rough estimate) that they consider that a violation of the terms where it talks about not discussing. It's just a guess, but with the post title being, "Does Google AdSense Make You Money?" -- I am sure that kind of headline grabs their attention.

  Thanks for your comment, Metro. If discussing the earnings is not allowed, then I guess I've broken the rules. But then why isn't everyone else on this thread also suspended? I mean, not that I'm wishing for anyone else to be suspended - I'm just confused.
  
  I wish I could reach a live person at Adsense that can explain what's going on and what needs to be done now.

I only made $2.94 for all the writing I did and finally gave up and removed AdSense Ads. I must give you a standing ovation for all of your perseverance and hard work. Well done you!

I've made $3.81 with adsense in a year or so.
My counter reads @ 2,302. Before I finally figured out how to add the counter I was @ 4,000 + views. I also have a Gardner's Supply & Food saver ad with only a few click thrus on each & no sales.
No doubt the low clicks are because my blog has to do with fugal living, at least that is what I tell myself. Some days it becaomes a grudge match -not soo much about the money just about getting a click!

  i just did a web search for "frugal living". There is a lot of traffic. I'm not an expert but maybe a SEO expert could help you out with the traffic problem. Also, your url themillionairesecrets is also a good search term...I should know...TheMaskedMillionaire
