I guess I do not know where to post, I though it was general discussion. My views are not extreme they are just passionate. like I said I am not out to cause the amount of trouble I have apparently caused... I just once again would like to state I am not a racist!! I do not want Senator Obama elected president just like I did not want John Kerry or Al Gore.

Well, I don't think that people on the Right are all racists, and I don't think that people who don't like Obama dislike him just because he's black, I'm sure they dislike him because of his politics.
As for where to put the discussion, it should have been placed in Shameless blog promotion, or whatever it's called.

oh ok I did not know about the shameless blog promotion, because the last topic I started did not have a link to my blog it was a youtube video.

Atlas:
In response to "You folks don't like talking about politics", I'd like to calarify a few things.
Yesterday you posted a discussionen titled "should the US invade Pakistan".
I guess you have asked the new question based on the complaints people made. If you consider asking the question about invading another country as talking about politics, some people would be very disturbed.
I for one have been to Pakistan many years ago as a tourist, I hated the place, nothing personal about the people or culture but I found the country very unforfotable to be in as a foreigner. I got locked in a room was told I would never get out, I was told that all the money I had would be taken and basically left to rot. Also my hotel room was spat at but dozens of people first thing in the morning and there was so much spit/ phlegm and mucous on the ground that I almost vomited passing through it.
Regardless of feeling uncomfortable about the lack of hospitality of the people there that I encountered, I still recognise the need to solve any situations in a manner that does not destroy a countries infastructure and cause incredible pain, trauma and hardship on other human beings. Invasion means death to many people, innocent lives are lost as well as the enemy (whover the aggressor decides them to be).
Your post yesterday was either careless or vile. But that is my opinion and yes in a democratic society we are all welcome to our opinions, but the heading of your post was so careless because many of the people that use the Internet and visit Blogcatalog are from the global community and a place like Blogcatalog is somewhere where people like myself make friends with others from across the world, regardless of religious, Political or cultural differences.
Many people that saw a heading like the one you posted do not have English as a first language and it could easily paint a poor picture of American people that do not have the same view as you.
Many of us hope for a peaceful future inhabited by a global community of friends. -

What he said was
" we should go after high-value Al Qaeda targets in Pakistan if the country's president was not willing to act." which is really what we should have been done originally, done instead of going into Iraq.
After the uproar they all made of it - this was last year right?
He said
"I find it amusing, that those who helped to authorize and engineer the biggest foreign policy disaster in our generation are now criticizing me for making sure that we are on the right battlefield and not the wrong battlefield in the war against terrorism."
And he was right. He was talking specifically about going after Al Queda - the folks who rEally did take down the towers, and destroyed the Pentagon, on 9-11. -
You're right. He never said anything about invading. I'm pretty sure he said he would bomb inside Pakistan if he knew Al Queda was there and Pakistan refused to act. Let's face it though, that would be a pretty provocative act, with a country that has nuclear weapons, so I think that maybe it might not happen.

hummm let me think, I could choose an intellectually simulating thread that requires higher order thinking or I could get in on the discussion about when I think Time Machines will be a reality? Which will I pick? hummm , I agree that the intellectual discussions are pretty thin around here, and I hate when they are dumped on, or killed....I want to hear people's opinons and heaven forbid anyone think outside the box.
