If I get the dream job, could I use the two jobs as a reference, even though I will give up one part time job for my dream job? This dream job has 'casual' hours leading to full time.
I'm wondering about the protical is for using references when you are potentially leaving one of the jobs.
I really hope I can get this dream job it is what I've always hoped I could be doing!
Thanks in advance for your help on this!

That is tough. If your current employers don't know you're thinking about leaving and get a call, that could go badly on both ends. You might be able to talk to someone at the one that's ending in February, since they know it's not long-term and you're going to be looking for something else eventually, but they'll probably be afraid that you're going to leave them stuck if you get an offer. This isn't an unusual situation and the people you're interviewing with will likely understand why you don't want them to contact your current employers, but then you'll have to come up with some other solid references. If that's going to be difficult, I'd suggest talking to the person that you have the best relationship wtih at the temp job. And remember that, while it's not as good as a supervisor, you can use colleagues for references...so perhaps there is someone you work with in one of these jobs who could be trusted to keep quiet and would give you a good reference?
