Yup,I'm gonna be a yaya! So I need help thinking of some "D" names for boys and girls. All of my pets names including my fish has names that start with the letter D,except for my cat (hunny)

So I have a diva and a daisy-mae, any ideas?......

The only issue with Ditto, is if someone decides to play on the name and call it "Dildo". You know they're out there! LOL.

Well rory, that reminds me of a joke I heard yesterday. I don't like to tell dirty jokes in mixed company, but this one is just toooooo funny not to share.....

So after 20 years of sex with the lights out,a wife learns that her hubby has always used a dildo on her,she says "explain the dildo dumb ass!" The hubby replies,"explain the kids bitch" hahahahahaha....that's funny huh

I like Delilah for a girl...the nickname "Lilah" is SO southern belle!

And Darby for a male. (or Darwin...then you can honestly say that Darwin is a real dog!)

I'm getting another Yorkie in September-October. The one we have now is named Puddin' and I am thinking of calling the new one Muffin. (We have a Maltese named Candy, so might as well keep the theme going!)
    1. timethief
Please cross your fingers for me. It's not a sure thing yet, but I do think I may have found a dog. It happened yesterday, and I'm on pins and needles waiting for a reply. I'm trying not to have my heart set on him, in case it falls through.
    2. HollytheHousewife
@ sv I luv u! U just hit the nail on the head! If it's a boy DARBY! If it's a girl DARLA
Yup that's it! I LUV it!!!!
    3. SweetViolet
      Oh...cool! Another Chihuahua?

You are not going to believe this, but my husband bought a stroller for Puddin'. We take her everywhere with us, and he thinks this will be more comfortable for her than being mashed in a puppy purse. And, of course, it will be better when we have two.

I hope you get your little boy...is a pup or an adult? The Maltese are rescued adult dogs and it is so cool to see how they have mellowed from those anxious, frightened little creatures into the happy, confident dogs they now are. But we got Puddin' as a pup, and there's much to recommend in that choice.

Do you have any names in mind? Here in South Africa we don't cross fingers, we "hold thumbs." So, I am holding thumbs for you!
    4. HollytheHousewife
Awe,TT I will say a quick prayer for you........there I hope that works
    5. timethief
I'm afraid to share any details in case it doesn't work out. He's a small breed. He's a registered young stud dog just under 2. He's well trained, socialized and personable. He's long haired and adorable. (I have 3 photos.) If everything works out he will arrive at the end of August.

        P L E A S E ... Make it so ...

        Re: strollers
My sister has 4 chihuahuas and she has a stroller that works great for them.
    6. HollytheHousewife
Well TT like I said, I prayed u would get your baby,I soooo hope you do
  18. Sam1982
Deepha - (Deefa) as in "D for Dog"

Sam that name sounds Celtic. Yes D for dog!
    2. HollytheHousewife
Aweeeeeeee.that's so cute to sam! Now I have a have a hard choice to make.
      Diva,Deepha,and daisy mae! That's 22222222 cute!
  19. HollytheHousewife
Diva hasn't had the pup yet,but I took her to the vet yesterday, and they said she is definately preggers, and we're probably gonna have to do a c-section bc she's so tiny.
    1. timethief
        How much does she weigh?
    1. timethief
Hmmmm ... As she only has one pup she may be able to deliver it naturally. So like sweetviolet says I'll "hold thumbs" for her, as a C-section is major surgery and if it can be avoided that would be good.
  20. HollytheHousewife
Yea,but I'm not gonna take a chance on this, I don't want anything to happen to diva. She is one of my babys now. She doesn't realize she's not a human
    1. celticmusicfan
Do you have a picture of Diva?
    2. HollytheHousewife
Yea,but I don't know how to put it on here. You can go to my fb page and I'll add u as a friend. She's on their.
