It is a Guess watch, not expensive but had been mine for more than 10 years. When I misplaced it, it had always come back. It has now been 2 months, so I am resigned to fate; it is lost, gone forever.

I use my mobile phone to keep time now, which I'm getting used to not wearing a watch.

- your favourite brand
- how many wrist watches do you have?
- do you wear all the time?

Thanks, maybe google has a psychic.

My mum got a erhhhmmmmm....Rolex recently!! and she's 80 years old! why would you buy a Rolex for an old woman.
    2. HelloAnnie
That didn;t work. HelloAnnie becomes HellMan!
    3. Friday13
      Oh, no. Google has failed
I didn't think I'd live to see such a day.

Anyway, let your mom buy all the Rolexes she wants. That she's 80 doesn't mean she can't have some bling bling
    4. HelloAnnie
She was given one! It's well over $5K...And she doesn't even party.
    5. Friday13
Well, if she enjoys it without having to show it off at some party, it's good enough. Otherwise ... borrow it

      (Google, I'm still disappointed! HellMan?!)

Stopped wearing one a while ago...before that, the cheap kind....
  3. HelloAnnie
I bought it with the first month's salary of a new job. Cost less than a hundred bucks. I can afford one easily but the thought of losing something you worked hard for, that kinda makes me lose the thought of buying a new one.

I quit wearing a watch back in Nov 2001 when I quit smoking cold turkey - "to keep my arms level with the other" (offset the cigarette in my right hand that is)
    1. HelloAnnie
oh that's a thought? You should write a post and sell the ebook on how to quite smoking.
    2. PetLvr
I suppose that sounds pretty good, but smoking isn't healthy and I will just give away my *New* and *Improved* // Never-before-seen-or-heard-techniques // that ..///.....`````

erm. oh nevermind.. I was just kidding!

Here's my story (in case anybody's interested) *SuperInteresting*

My husband loves watches. He has a wish list that would require us to be gazillionaires in order to buy them, but he does have a few nice ones:

    A Citizen Titanium chronograph
    A Rolex "kermit"
    A Longines
A gold Bulova circa 1962 (the one with the little whale logo)
    A Swatch

He is presently jonesing for a Mont Blanc or a Philippe Patek

I don't wear a watch, I use my cell phone. I'd rather wear gold bangles.
    1. HelloAnnie
that is a better investment. i can get copy rolex for a buck.

    1. Favourite Brand = Vivienne Westwood
    2. Watches - stainless steel Guess watch; two older D&G ones that I haven't worn in forever; a fairly simple black one with a really cool face and completely uunreadable; a Dior one I just bought fairly recently.
    3. I used to always wear watches, but rarely do now that my entire life and schedule is on my mobile. I still wear them from time to time, when I remember.
    1. HelloAnnie
stainless steel Guess watch!!! could it be mine....!!!!
    2. LoveIan
I'm not sure!? It's a big chunky square-ish one -- dark red (almost looks black) face.
    3. HelloAnnie
as dark as the glittered lips?

well, I am resigned to fate now. See you all in your shoutbox and blogs (I like to meet your good self behind these icons.) I comment you follow...if i can't find a post to comment on, you will still get my full support.

You are in luck...I have a blog on wrist watches. You might find the misplace watch there in the store menu. (we have Rolex, Tag Hueuer and SWATCH).

    www.avadrive.com

I only got 1 wrist watch and it was given by my friend. I seldom wear them though, only when I remember...

I never wear a watch. I don't believe we should be a slave to time. That and I have a lot of hair on my wrists (as well as elsewhere but that is probably more than you want to know) and I don't like what a wrist watch does to it.
  11. CrystalRaven
Awww sorry you have lost your watch.
I have an Avon special, but it tells the moon phase too.
  12. Anniepooh
That stinks! I hate losing things - it makes me feel sick

The last watch I bought was one from PayLess LOL! My favorites were a manual wind Timex that my grandfather bought for me and a clear cased Mickey Mouse watch that mom got me for Christmas one year. Both are long gone
