I worked pretty hard on this new blog and was able to make over 18 hundred in 50 days. Wanted to know how much other bloggers are making with their blogs.
How much do you make.

Oh, yeah, I am getting rid of most of my ads because they don't look good on my blogs and they don't pay anything anyway -
Well done and a fantastic start.
I've made 25 dollars from adsense and about 100 dollars from reviews, this is from all my sites and blogs.
This is in 7-8 months so I am crap at making money but good at getting visitors.
Currently in total down by over 1000 pounds I think with giveaways, contests, hosting, domain names.
But I say 'Am I Bothered' good things come to those that wait. -
thanks guys. i worked way too much on it but this is a nice little treat. im actually new to blogging but im hooked. no turning back for me.
i own a few offline businesses but im definately going to start investing in internet business. blogging has changed the course of my career.

lol, i've had at least 5 people say that in the last 5 days. But if you want to throw some ideas at me or just ask for advice just say.

about 14,000 page views this 30 day period. 4000 uniques visitors. 2.4 pageviews per visit.

Man, how do you monetize your blog? I get about three times the visits but ten times less money =0

damn. i wish i got your traffic. i should be asking you questions not the other way around. my bread and butter has been cj and paid posting. how do u get so much traffic?

sure, I'd like some advice. For instance, I had 1,250 impressions on the pages that display Google Ads today and only 10 clicks. My clicks are in the range 2-3 cents each; do the math. I know it's my fault, on one of my main blogs I only have one ad and it is way on the bottom, but my personal web page is still getting most traffic, and I have link ads on top

Well i don't use google adsense. i actually hate it. doesn't work on make money blogs. But on certain niche blog it does ok. but won't make much with adsense. It's probably better to do affiliate marketing. not just placing links on the sidebar either. putting strategic links in relevant posts, should get some clicks and a few purchases.

you have some two solid blogs. my first advice is to drop blogspot. get your own domain and hosting. secondly, pick 1 affilate. i like commission junction cause they have pretty much everything. If u need help email me.

About CJ, what advertiser work the best for you? How much did you earn? Because It seem I can't make it work. I like the system of CJ offer. It's the only place I can find banner 125x125 as advertisement. I have earned few dollars, but I can't say thats better than google adsense. Do you have any advices?

I don't like this hosting co. and thinking about switching. Their tech support barely speaks English and it's not flexible in terms of script editing. I have several blogs and I just can't pay for hosting each one when it doesn't pay off. I don't know why I have so many LOL
I like CJ too. It was kinda ok for a while, but now it's nothing at all maybe because I have the same ads -

modelelaine- you can host multiple blogs on one hosting plan. that's what those mysql databases are for. you can easily add another domain and blog on one hosting in cpanel.
kiwi-i market a few products every one in a while in my posts. for example i did one for peapod the other day. i have webhosting link via cj on my blog that works too. i try to go for the top dollar affiliate. so credit card, hosting, etc. -

they both pay $65 per signed client. I am LP affiliate. Honestly I have not been paid from them ever, but I only recently joined. Thinking of joining blue host too, but I am not in the right niche to sell web hosting. you may wanna try it if you haven't yet. :). trying to sell on these discussion boards is kinda taboo. people on here are already bloggers so thats a tough sell. on your photosite. you should probably hook up with bestbuy or circuit city, or amazon. sell camera equipment or something.

I am signed up with Amazon, but their frames get cut off in my site template that I initially tried to implement in on and I gave up. And I just got approved with Barns and Noble

Oh, by the way, that affiliate link on my site is not for affiliate sign up referral, it'll only work if someone wants to get hosting, but not if someone signs up as an affitiate, so I am not selling anything here for sure ;-)

I tried. I shortened it to 500 pix. then the side bar dissapeared and the banner became unclicable. I was like, what's going on with it? no one clicks on it, not even one. Then like two weeks later I tried to click on it myself and sure enough it didn't work. Live and learn

what kind of tips? i think you have an awesome blog! you got like 750 diggs.
as far as monetizing. i think you should work in some affiliate links with your photos. with descriptions. for example. talk about what camera, lenses you used and put an affiliate link to those products in your posts. a lot of ways to monetize your blog.-

A camera shop (bhphotovideo.com) have been in touch with me about affiliate sales, but haven't got around to make links since I've been doubting that I could make any money that way. Sounds like I need to rethink my stance

I looked at your blog again. Your work is amazing! I would not take my eyes off of your images to look at advertisements-
Thst rather defeats the object then, doesn't it, of making money through adverts! But if you apply the reverse, don't adverts defeat the object (or get in the way of) of providing quality websites? On TV, for sure adverts get in the way. I guess it's a question of getting the balance right.
As far as adverts go, I think those who will do best are those whose sites are most likely to attract buyers, ie gadgets, or provide webmaster tools. Those type of ads will get more click I would imagine. For some, it's a case of art for arts sake.

So true, we tend to give away as much as we make in terms of pure $. This just means we do our bit but still get commercial return with flowers worldwide so its a win-win. -
Good for you! Impressive, really. My blogs are not really monetized (only Amazon widget link to my products). I like the fact that you had a post breaking down your earning.
Do you like PPP? Do you have a personal or business blog for your own benefit versus another for PPP? When you do PPP, do you post reviews on YOUR OWN site or that of the supplier?
How do you feel about giving your financial and SS data to all of your affiliate programs?
Lastly, about your avatar.. is this your baby? I think your avatar is kind of weird - because of the mouth area. It looks strangely questionable. -
haha. globalgirl my avatar is not my baby. i'm babyless at the moment. i feel ok giving out my ss data to trusted websites. i have an llc that i will transfer all of my web ventures in the near future. yeah i do like ppp, but im starting to like sponsoredreviews a lot better. im just starting out but i have several other blogs besides bloggernoob.

I think it's amazing that people could make anything out of their bedrooms / or dens / or etc.
The internet is a wonderful find. To think that some knuckleheads from Brooklyn NY could learn this and make some $ is amazing in itself.
As far as secure sites go, if you don't give out the information you won't get paid, so just be careful where you sign up.-
it's probably best to have an llc or corporation. that why don't don't have to give out any personal information

Glad to see ya here and I just want to ask you How'd you make money from CJ. Putting a text aff link or banners links?-
cj is a bit tricky with blogs. I started off strong with it, but didn't want to spend to much on it via my blog. I have a few static sites that do well with cj and other affiliate networks. I don't recommend them for blogs, but it would probably help if you mentioned them in your post as a text link as opposed to image ads. In my experience, images do not work well. People don't seem to like clicking on images ads.

I'm still on blogspot... thought If i would earn some bucks i would go for a domain.. no i don't know which one is the best for me I dont understand how the review thing works as well a total noob! . my blog is just over 3 months so adsense is not approved yet.. alexa rank is below 200,000 in few months itself i will go high but no money.. funny right..

Currently I am just 2 weeks into my blog but made $600 so far I work mostly with higher cost affiliate programs to make money off the blog along with recommendations of things I have used to help me to get to where I am today.-
