If you guys are visiting my site through my old url, stupiddinosaurlies.org, you'll be in for a surprise that my blog is just not there anymore. That's because I don't like WordPress anymore because of all of the inconveniences I had to go through over the years (at least to me), so I'm relocated to Blogger and changed my url to

I found that I like Blogger better than WordPress. Especially when it now has new stuff that allows me to export and import my posts, map my domain to the site, put in adsense, and other goodies. I just don't like WordPress anymore because it's way too complex for me. WordPress.com having no way for anyone to edit their themes unless they buy premium, they have limited choices on what themes to use, no javascripts allowed, the self hosting version managed on hosting sites like bluehost.com costs a lot of money which I'm trying to save for an apartment, trying to cache my site proved to be a little difficult, I hate it when hosting sites suffer downtimes every now and then, so many themes, none of what I wanted, and so much more. I was at the point where I just became fed up with WordPress and all of its inconveniences so I relocated to Blogger and that's where I'll stay.

Good choice my man. It's free and if you know how to edit html and css, you can make it unique. My blog is on blogger and I think it looks rather nice compared to the standard blogger templates they spew out.

The biggest surprise is that it takes forever to load and is too wide for my 1024px screen, which also pushes the center column over the left column, obscuring half of it, ruining an otherwise good blog. Interestingly, I see we use the same Atahualpa theme. I wouldn't consider $6.95/mo for Bluehost a lot of money, but every penny counts when you want to save.

I am sorry, that is too bad. Wordpress comes with so much more behind the scenes. Now you have to do all of your own SEO.

I find SEO etc easy on Blogger and have been on blogger for a long time, I just dont like Wordpress!

@Crazy - Your header is way too wide for my screen resolution and needs resizing. In blogger you should be able to "Shrink to fit".

Also it seems your side bar is to narrow for what you have in there.

    Mugshot,

I tweaked my theme to make it more user friendly for folks like you. Now what do you think?

you might want to change your front page to only view the last 3 blog posts .. as you probably figured out by now, you can't have more than 3 google ads on the same page and your 336x280 in the 4th post on is a blank white box.

Done. Thanks for the advice, PetLvr

I also prefer blogger because we can able to make our own template (for free) and use it on our blogs.

Blogger owns! Wordpress is good but sometimes there is just TOO much going on.
