i dont want to sound pessimistic but you see the market is pretty saturated right now.. If you started blogging way back 2000 then its easy to make money and earn from blogging but now its hard... the rule of thumb is this; try to get the most traffic possible for your blog then you can consider monetization... Imagine if you're using adsense and youre blog is just getting 10 hits a day, then do you think you can earn? I mean before I used to have a site that gets 120,000 pageviews a day and the clicks were just like 17 which accounted me for more than $10 a day... The same is true w/payperpost, sponsoredreviews and any kinds of monetizing stuff, if you have the traffic, then you attract people, advertisers and then you make money from them... Just a lil heads up for everyone...

Melvin I would have to respectfully disagree on a couple points. While the market is "saturated" with so many blogs, it's not the number of blogs out there that causes them to fail. If you're creating worthwhile content and posting frequently, you're already setting yourself miles ahead of many personal blogs out there.
I read a lot of comments by people with failing blogs, unable to monetize, and are wondering why. Many of these sites are free accounts at blogspot or wordpress with no real value of content. It's certainly respectable that a blogger has maintained a blog filled with personal musings and pictures, but the low traffic should not come as a surprise for sites like this.
I would think that skill also has a big play in success. There are many Photoshop blogs out there, but many of them do not demonstrate the higher level of skills that a reader would want to learn from.
I always say to monetize with PPC from day one of the blog. You're certainly not losing anything. Worst case scenario is that you receive no clicks. What's to say that one of those ten visitors won't click an ad presented? I can understand the concept of building an audience, and then marketing them to advertisers but this doesn't apply in the same ways to PPC like Adsense though.
BuySellAds is an example of how even smaller blogs can benefit from CPM adspace. Lower impressions means lower cost. Obviously a blog with very low traffic won't be receiving any sponsors, but it's more a matter of making the option available and seeing what happens. -
honestly guys, iam in the level of learning and thank u so much for the informations u shared.. i really appreciate those..and also to melvinD ,, uve got the point maybe.. then gud luck to all of us bloggers.!

How good are you at using Google Adsense? If you are a PRO at it - I'd suggest make a blog from any blogging service or even your domain name and GO FOR IT!
If you are not well-versed with Adsense, you can start off with Today.com - They pay you per post as well as for the number of visitors.
Always remember that blogging is a learning experience and you cannot make a lot of money overnight but once you start earning, it will be consistent and can easily be increased. -
The sky's the limit
You can always try everything from Adsense to Affiliate Marketing to "Pay Per Post/Click/Survey."
Whichever works for you, cause it varies for everyone - you can always build a blog since your @ blog catalog and slap on some well placed and colored Google Adsense ads.
Shoot me a PM if you want to, I'd be glad to help you out
