I have to believe you, because you've been doing this for so long. But it would be nice to give some examples of how the strategy works (before asking reader to sign up). I'm suspicious about 'free access' --- what are hidden costs? I'm sure you mean for page to be a big billboard with attention grabbing fonts and animation, so it works on that level.
The logo/tag line and play on the words friends and frenzy is fantastic. The box graphic is fine, but the copy of the box's word graphic in the header banner is a bit fuzzy and could be more crisp (words to the right of the people pictured).

The title of this blog is quite misleading and it is a great collection of some very interesting stuff. Loved the sun set, the 'art' photo and the pizza ad. The only criticism is that the video autoplays and becomes in conflict with th radio stream you have. Apart from that, great work!! All the best, Allen

No harsh criticism here although I think submitting to directories is pretty much a waste of time, unless part of a much wider SEO strategy, in which case it adds a littel link love, bit not much else (when's the last time you visited a site as a result of visiting a directory?). Yes, liked this one. I'm too for free speech but sadly, today, there is no such thing. You are not free to say 'anything', too many anti terror laws and the like prevent genuine free speech (you cannot use words that would incite a riot for example). But then again, there is no such thing as freedom. Freedom is choosing to live under those laws that you choose to abide by, that's all. You are never totally 'free' to do anything you want to do. Yes, all resolved now thanks. I love your blog. A man after my own heart. Not sure the carbon 350 is actually achievable with China building 350 (coincidentally) coal fired power stations over the next 7 years (1 a week). Agree with the shop local and organic idea. We only eat asparagus for the one month of the year when it is in season and only if it's grown within one mile of our front door. We then move onto the next thing in season i.e. broad beans etc. To be honest, I think all this is peeing in the wind, but better to do something than nothing at all. We really need 'externality' charges to solve the broader issue, but that would mean world governments agreeing on things and we're not very good at that, are we? Interesting to note that USA and Australia didn't sign up to Kyoto, they might this time round, now they are realizing that votes are at stake. Anyway, keep up the good work and look after that python!! All the best, Allen

Google search under the images tab. You can normally find copyright free images there. Alternatively, key in ' creative commons {keyword} image '. For example, I just did this for {ship} and found:

Unfortunately I didn't agree with the Adsense search box post, my own experience suggests that the Adsense search box is a waste of time. Don't be confused by the ecpm that Adsense show, that is earnings per search box use, not search box display. Much better uses for your real estate I think...all the very best, Allen

1. Try and hone down to your niche. To be honest, I'm not sure what your blog is about i.e. is it C++ programming or Payday loans. If you want to cover more than one subject, suggest you split blogs.

Hard to tell without having access to your logs. Have you installed Google Analytics? That will tell you where your visitors are coming from. Looks like you are targeting

This one is in the Shameless Blog Promotion category (she rolls her eyes) and the OP contains no blog promotion at all. There's also no discussion going on and never was one initiated. IMO it's a link drop thread and posting to it is an exercise in futility. However, I have repeatedly reported such threads in the past and they don't get locked - go figure?!
