Hey guys, I think I have found how to finally get search engine traffic. You can do all the guidelines said by "gurus", but getting listed for keywords in search engines still won't work!! - It's because there are sites that have a much better pagerank.

However I realised that you can bypass this by adding a few words to your keyword or changing it slightly or make it more long. I have just realised those precious things and will be experimenting with it as well...

    As far as getting search engine traffic goes, "yes" I get search engine traffic. I am a white hat SEO blogger who does NOT employ any game the search engines techniques whatsoever. As you want to know what strategies I employ I will link to two reference posts below my blog description which follows.

      @LSKcrochet
      Complete the title and the description fields.
      Title _______________________________________________

      Caption ______________________________________________

      Also used as alternate text for the image
      Description __________________________________________

      like this?

      alt=""
      alt="timetheif"?

      what about the back link to another source. Is that helpful as well?

      I cannot help you because I do not have a blogspot blog. What I copied and pasted came from my wordpress blog. When we upload images we are presented with those fields which we complete.

    wow timethief, I have to say that I'm impressed by your pagerank and alexa rank of 70k... Also articles are very interesting thanks, I willc come back every now and then. Also how long did you start this blog, and how many unique visitor do you get per day or month?
    1. timethief
      I started the blog on January January 16, 2008 and the figures for the traffic it gets can viewed on Alexa. It's free hosted blog. I have no advertising of my own on it so I'm not focused on obtaining "ad clickers". My focus is on attracting targeted readers, who become regular readers/subscribes.

    What you're describing is known as "long tail search", so named because when you graph search traffic, there are many longer phrases that get lower search volume than the primary keywords associated with your site but add up if you target several of them. Now that you're on to it, you can use a keyword discovery tool to find combinations that are relevant to your site and getting a decent search volume. Those phrases that add to the core keyword are especially effective, because you are boosting your optimization for the main keyword at the same time that you're hitting the long tail phrase.

    Cool, thanks a lot madame x! Also I heard that making like one hundred hubs targetting longtail keywords gives like 10-15 dollars a day!!

    cool anthony and thanks for replying others! the next few posts (sorry to tell you that) but i suspect that they won't be very usefull. Instead I plan on ranking first on search engines for unpopular keywords but those visits should still add up, ie 5 + daily per targeted post! and after a few posts they hsould really add up
