Topics: abort error, page load problem
Hi everyone,
I need your help.
It came to my attention yesterday, thank you IbneAdam, that hyperlinks to specific entries of my blogs aren't loading properly. When someone clicks on the link the page starts to load, then after a few seconds or so, an error page pops up. I discovered if I close the abort window and click the back button the page then loads.
Here are two examples:
www.svbellarose.com/ourblog.htm?blogentryid=3969823
www.teasemeteas.com/robspersonalblog.htm?blogentryid=4126348
If you wouldn't mind giving it a try and letting me know if it works for you or not. And, what browser you are using.
Thank you very much for your help.
Your Living Aboard Friend, Rob

OS windows xp
browser 1 FF 3.03
page load time 12 seconds
browser 2 IE 7
page load 2 seconds "windows cannot open this page - operation aborted"
You do seem to have a problem when it comes to opening your page with IE7 - operation aborted. I'm sorry but I have no advice to offer. -
I am using explorer with vista, and the svbellerosa I had to try three times before the page finally stayed open, it would come on then I would get error cannot open this page. But the third time I tried it worked great.
The other page worked fine. It may have been just something on my end tho! I am not an expert on these things. -
