I think there is already a Google Page Rank Update!

I logged in to my blogs today and i noticed that for make money blog spaceofinfluence.blogspot.com, the PR shows PR-2 for the homepage. I thought it was a glitch, i checked my PR at prchecker.info and i got a PR-4, just the same. So i took down the PR button as it was showing PR2 instead of 4.

But when i checked my ladysconfessions.blogspot.com the homepage shows a PR of 3, instead of 4. But again using prchecker.info- my overall page rank is 4.

I think there is an update on the page ranks already. I don't see the decline in the PR for my homepages as a bad sign because looking at all the pages in my websites, i now have more PR-4 and some PR-5 pages.And some pages with PR-0 are now at PR-4.

In fact i got a good ranking for keywords "legitimate earning sites" in 38countries. i made a post about this in my make money blog. I got top position in google china and some top2 and top6 positions.

anyone noticing the change in their websites page ranks?

i still see no change at all. main page rank 3 all the other 500 nothing yet.

perhaps it was a glitch as it has happened to me before. my PR for my homepages change sometimes and sometimes it shows no PR.

Lately my Google toolbar seems to have gone crazy. Most of the time it's showing a PR 4 for my blog, which is PR 0. Might be a sign of an upcoming update?

hi jrgarralda. maybe what happened to my blogs was a mistake. but im super excited for the next PR. i hope i improve my PR or just maintain PR-4.. your name sounds like a filipino..

  oh i see. filipino names were derived from spanish names because the Philippines was colonized by the spaniards for over 300 years.

PR stands for Page Rank, Deb. Google Page Rank

Page Rank is a system of ranking web pages. It has something to do with backlinks, outbound links, inbound links and other factors. The highest PR is 10. It's a bit complicated.you can find more information about PR at this link: www.google.com/technology/..

you should have at least 100 backlinks to get a PR-- how to determine your backlinks go this site: popuri.us

how old is your blog?
you should exchange links with other blogs having the same topic as your blog and you should submit to search engines and directories..

I notice from the Fabulous Photo Gifts (.co.uk) website access log that Google has been going crazy spidering the website the last few days. I recently updated the Google SIte Map but this activity goes way beyond normal crawling.

Made me wonder if they were getting ready for a change to their search algorithm - good luck you guys.

  5 to 6 seems to be the big hurdle--it seems that any reasonably well-built-out site that's consistently maintained over time, has adequate content, and a respectable number of incoming backlinks eventually reaches PR5...but making the next cut seems to require something extra.

it was really just some problems at prchecker.info
i placed another PR button code from blogfux and the PR-4 displayed well..
The PR update hasnt taken place yet.

I just checked several online tools, including rankalert.com and the visual tool from iwebtool.com and I see no changes have taken place... yet.

Your best of using google toolbar for so you can see your pr, most visitors to sites wont know or want to know your pr

I'm happy it's taking a while for updating.
A few weeks ago the prediction tool said I would drop to PR3. Now it says I will keep my PR4 and it's going up

I think some of us doesn't have PR. for instance, if your site's PR is N/A then your toolbar or any thing will only give PR from the last site you visit.

I think you should use this www.google.com/webmasters/tools/
this tool from google will show you how your PR distribution accross you page.

And yet, my blog still hanging in PR3.

I had PR 4 for each of these, but are they accurate - one showed 6000 links - that sounds like a higher PR to me!
