The Lost Boys is probably my favourite, then Blade and then Underworld for vamp/werewolf combo.
    Oops! Forgot Dracula!

Read that book, by Anne Rice. The book was a lot better than the film.

      Is True Blood worth watching?

I like the first 2 seasons but got bored with the new one. Too much sex between the main characters, not necessary.

True Blood is great. I absolutely love it.

Yep, it took 2 episodes for me to get into the character development.
Now, I look forward to it. I leave time on Mondays to catch it on demand.

also notice you had Lost Boys, one of the best.

Oh yeah Bel Lugosi is the killer yeah! I love watching black and white vampire movies. I love Interview with the Vampire thing. I like True Blood too because it is set on the South and I love everything Southern, New Orleans etc.

Never could get into true blood unfortunately. Salem's Lot! Saw it when I was way too young. Traumatized me enough that when it was dark, I'd expect to see a kid floating up to my window!

Yes i remember Salem's lot. That picture of a floating kid on the window stayed with me for a long time.

Since people here mentioned the great Bela Lugosi, i just want to take time to plug the lyrics to the song by Bauhaus. One of my favorite Goth bands.

    Bela Lugosi's Dead

White on white translucent black capes
    Back on the rack
    Bela Lugosi's dead
The bats have left the bell tower
    The victims have been bled
Red velvet lines the black box
    Bela Lugosi's dead
    Undead undead undead
The virginal brides file past his tomb
    Strewn with time's dead flowers
    Bereft in deathly bloom
    Alone in a darkened room
    The count
    Bela Logosi's dead
    Undead undead undead

This is from another vampire movie The Hunger.
