I do not count anymore how many people told me they visited my website, how interesting it is, and please visit mine in return.
Do you know this can be checked... ?

Probably, it is bullshit, but I visit theirs anyway. Why not? I have nothing else to do and I might learn something.

      yes.. absolutely correct and bang...

Well, visiting a website or a blog means reading what is written there.
Not just clicking on it, bounce out of it, and says it is interesting, I visited it.
    Please visit mine...
I, for one, have the decency to read the blogs of the ones I call my friends on this forum...

      highly appreciated..

I read thoroughly one or two posts in every blog I visit and try to leave a comment if my brain's not too befogged. The exception is blogs dealing with money-making or improving your blogging skills. Those don't interest me.

Hey farangrakthai, I just ki$$ed all the ads on your blog. Unfortunately, I'm a terrible kisser.

      wrong post.

Well, another one who did not visit the website.
Did I say I do not need the money before?
Just doing it for fun and for people to know Thailand better.
So I'm afraid you can not see any ads on my website... ^^

I hate the ad ki$$ers; they drive me up the wall! I have no ads, either, and have started to post messages in my shout box when I am bothered by these idiots. For instance:

"laikepo 's message is spam (see below). He never visited my site and i do not have ads on my blog for him to commit ad fraud. I suggest everyone steer clear of laikepo."

    thank you for the visit.

lol. most of them are liars

Well I just visited all your blogs and they suck!

Fine I didn't. But I want to point out that you can't really be certain who is visiting and who's not. That BC widget isn't the final word on readership. What if they visited your blog while they were logged out of BC?

I would rather have people visit who are actually interested in what I write. I see no value in simply collecting people. Sounds a little bit like serial dating....

I have experienced that same thing you refer to. I have received annoying shouts from members claiming they visited my blogs when this doesn't appear to be so. Of course it can be checked. That's why there are stats programs and counters.
    www.google.com/analytics/
    www.sitemeter.com/
    www.statcounter.com/
    firestats.cc/
    www.woopra.com/
    awstats.sourceforge.net/
    www.shinystat.com/en
    activemeter.com/
    www.expertcounter.com/
    tracker.icerocket.com/
    whos.amung.us/
    live.feedjit.com/live/feedjit.com/
    or feedjit.com/joinimg/
    www.clustrmaps.com/
Also community donors to BC get their in-house real time stats program.

When we get annoying and/or spam shouts we can either click "delete" on these shouts or we can click "spam" and that will report them to Admin.

IMO threads posted to the forum begging for comments, blog visits and blog reviews are far more annoying than the shouts you can click on and dump in seconds are,but you may beg to differ.

    Indeed Timethief.
It is actually extremely easy to check who come to visit, how long they visit, how many pages they visit...
And well, as Trimandtrendy wrote, most of them are liars...

In this plastic and digital world nobody cares about liars ...
Just wonderning why they don't attacking me Should be happy!
