   You can have someone design it for you, if you don't have any experience. I personally think it's a good idea to get some image editing experience for blogging.

   Royalty Free is a good start but you really need photos that are free for commercial use for blogging.

   BTW there is usually a fee for using royalty free photos. Compared to other licenses you can reuse a royalty free photo in several projects after purchase.
