Ok look everybody be honest. Now in most cases 65% of people drop out of their diet plan. Some times all you may need is a little encouragement from friends, loved ones and Fitness professionals. Being told " hey wow you are really looking good" is a huge mental boost and can sometimes be what people need to keep at there diet. And also the key is to diet and exercise that how you really get long term results.

I try to maintain my weight within a range between 190 and 260 pounds. That's my preferred diet.

Depending on your height and age though, 260lbs may not be to great. My father sits on around 190lbs(86kg) and he is 45 years old. But if you were say 5'9 and and around 110kg, really that aint your best weight to be at. Some people prefer to be abit heavier, dont get me wrong look at Sonny Bill Williams former player from the Canterbury Bulldogs rugby league team; he is I believe about 105kg and sitting on about 8% body fat. He is very lean but also is like 6'6. If you like go check out my blog, I have heaps of different tips about fitness, nutrietion and supplements etc... you might read something there that interests you. Any ways I hope you stay healthy and happy brian.

Diets as a rule are something that are almost alwasy unsuccessful by the standard of consistancy. The ONLY real way to loose weight, keep it off and NOT feel like you've committed a crime and starvation is your punishment...is to change your lifestyle:

-Take walks to the places near your home instead of driving.
    -Ride bikes with your kids
-Eat only foods that contain whole ingredients
-Eat your meals with other people, savoring each bite, taking your time and not stuffing yourself
    -Drink plenty of water
-Take an areobics class or a yoga class but every day grueling gy routines can wear on you
-Cut out fast food. Remember some of the corners fast food places cut in order to stay fast are deadly and can effect your body right down to altering your cells.
-Keep away from genetically altered foods

This way you can enjoy your life and be healthy and fit. It doesn't have to be some big Jenny Craig thing. People make MONEY off of the idea that loosing weight is harder that it looks. IT'S NOT.

Absolutely, I eat HEAPS of food but I just stay away from alot of the bad stuff. But people do get cravings so its good to have like a 'cheat' day like once p/w where you can have say like a burger, cake etc. Then you dont really feel like you are dieting at all because you are still always full and on your 'cheat' day you can have those naughty treats.

Diets don't work for me, so I don't go on them anymore, but I have tried many in the distance past.

I think that instead of dieting, if people had a better understanding of food itself then that would help. I used to eat heaps of fast food and junk about a year or so ago and I weighed 103kgs. I wasnt really 'fat' it was more so bulk. It wasnt until I starting reading books about nutrietion and books that went into detail about whats in food(the good and bad stuff) that I really stopped eating the junk. I have not 'dieted' but i have dropped down to 81kg now. Of course I train regularly but just understanding the crap that goes in alot of fast food and sweets was enough to help me.
