I started this thread to re-define some simple set of rules as the old thread has been misused wonderfully by link droppers.
I started this thread as I love helping others who really need help, and me learning at the same time.
My comment will be from a designer perspective. Give essential blogging tips if needed.
I am willing to go the extra mile spending hours, for those who are still very new to blogging or for peoples who have stuck on something unusual and can't get out of it.

Sorry to say dude, Your blog look very childish. The Bg star damage the look.
The header image graphic quality (not design) is very low.
Strongly recommended to go for a better template right away!

Thanks if you have time to check out my blog.
I'm a html inexpert, so I tweaked the free template (bluesteel by amanda) that I use by trial and error :)) but so far I'm very happy with it.
I'm not sure about how fast its load time though.
I'm also going to change some icons there so to make them more in agreement with the template shade.
I also wish I knew how to change the twitter box background there to make it merges naturally to the template.
Hope that doesn't sound confusing :-D , but you'll understand when you see it. Thanks.
PS. The blog that I mean is my blog with brown colour (chocolate template), not the white one.-
Your blog load very very slow. The reason is because of 3 party widget- mainly the footer "Give back"
For the images to go well with your template, you must transparent image, mostly comes with the PNG image format and GIF.

You should have a tile to your blog, to Get it display in the browser title bar.
You need lots of works to do on SEO
Give Title and Alt attributes to your images. Your blog is a images based comic blog. so you need to focus on that.
You must do something on your header to let visitors know what your blog is all about.
Spend more time in blog that teach blogging tips- specifically on blogger blog tips and tricks. -
Awesome advises. I'm about to change my layout, so I'll keep all of this in mind.
I was thinking about adding the script of the comic itself on the lat attribute. Do you think it's a good idea?

Tips:
a footer image that match your theme.
Example:

Fill the blank space in your sidebar till it reach the footer area. -

Give me your FTP Account usename and password. Without that I can't help you. I can't upload the sitemap file and theme without FTP access.
I have repeated this enough, dude.
If you are scare to give out, That's not my probs,
but you said you don't know about FTP and I have told you to contact your host or the person who set up your blog first.
I am just willing to help you as I know you are very knew to blogging.
Contact me when you are ready to send the FTP access.
I shall warn this too that giving out FTP account to somebody you don't know is a thing we should avoid.

I have a very new blog, and I am using the GoDaddy "Quick Blogcast" product. There are a limited number of themes and so far as I can tell, (being a noob) not a lot of flexibility in terms of layout design and or widgets. But maybe I am wrong.-
Your Blog Title "Green Revolution" sound attractive and good but when I visit the blog, the big header ads pulled me down what I have thought about your blog. looks like just another ordinary money making blog.
Looks like your blog is freely hosted by Godaddy.
you can have a better theme, I don't designs there. -

My blog is "free host" at GoDaddy, as the "Quick Blogcast" product came included with my Domain registration. The drawback of course to the "FREE" is that it has that stupid GoDaddy Header Frame. But, For a blog that is not intended to make money, the price is right... Why spend $5+/month to rant and rave about whatever my topic is ... when I have no readers and no self sustaining income from the site???
As you may or may not have noticed, this blog has not been monetized. Other than the crap I have to put up with for the "Free Hosting"... but its not mine and it only resides at the top. There are no GOOGLE ADS or other advertising there. So why would this appear to be "just another ordinary money making blog"?
Not sure how to interpret that. Perhaps its good, if you think it should be a money maker. Or perhaps its bad, as you would be indicating that its one of a DIME a DOZEN sites.

You have your own domain and your blog topic about love and sex is a very general and vast topic where people may like to read. But I tell you this your theme looks very dry and simple. Your visitor at the first look may just leave.
See how many professional (big) site and blog are on the net in this same topic. How you are going to compete. I know It involve good content. But to get readers to read your good content you need to put the attraction on your blog. It will be hard for everyone to know and discover that you are a good writer on the topic.

it's too bad that Socialvibe badges slacken my blog load, I wish to keep them cause they have good mission for the World.
Maybe the badge size matter?
PNG doesn't go well with IE, no?-
PNG image has a problem showing blue back in IE 6 only but i have my own script for that.
But you covert it to other format -gif. using photoshop or flash
And for the Socialvibe badges create your own GIF animated banner by copying the banner image and host it in your server.

That's happen most with IE, You are not alone on that.
If you want for sure try setting it up with IE 6 first.
If it run well, most probably it will be fine with other browser. -

Now Try checking the sidebars and content area width.
See the wrapper width. and divide them properly
Example: If wrapper width is 900
Left Sidebar=200
Right Sidebar=200
Content body =480
Leaving 20 px spaces so that it does not cross the others -

AS you blog is images based you should limit your blog post to the minimum.( slow loading) And Let your sidebar and content body ends at the same horizontal line.

Id genuinly appreciate it if you had a look at mine. I designed the skin, am using B2evolution software which I love. It is still very new so no "clutter" yet (which i'll avoid at all costs) but keen on any reactions, improvement suggestions etc you can give.

Hey Web - ya kinda missed mine. But you know what?
I just looked up my site on my daughter's computer - using another browser - and it looked all funky --- so I don't know if it's because she has an older laptop of mine - or if I have a SCREWY ugly design. LOL!
Anyhow - I AM looking for someone to redesign WagerWitch - but only someone who wants to make it totally sexy/cool/fun/witty/personable/witchy and just the personna that WagerWitch is.

You should change the bg color to white ad the content rounder is white. It looks bad. Well it simple, clear and good. You can have a better social button that is hanging on the left side bar
