We have answered how we would like to day, why not the last song too?

I would put REM - It's the end of the world as we know it (and I feel fine)

Even the title says it so!

The premise is that humans would deviate from the current state of human DNA which contains 44 chromosomes and 2 sex autosomes. The next step of evolution would likely have 46 and 2 chromosomes in their DNA, according to Melchizedek.

If the world were ending tonight I would put on my vinyl copy of dark side of the moon, get out the strobe light and make some magic brownies.
    1. Darkblaze37
I question the ingredients of those "magic" brownies...
    2. bradhart
if it is the end of the world why not. The trick would be finding some for sale if everyone knew it was the end of the world.

The Future by Leonard Cohen - and everything would turn good...

I just have to say that on our current trajectory, the end of the world may just be an attainable goal...
    1. Darkblaze37
Yea, but I'm hoping it to wait 'till achieve some goals first.

Heaven Knows I'm Miserable Now by The Smiths, a purely brilliant song that makes me laugh everytime, I guess mirth would be good in a situation like that.

I forgot to answer the question...hands down it would be Sigur Ros- Svefn G Englar...it's the *most* amazing song I've ever heard. (there is a you tube video you can google, or it loads as the first song on my blog)...

"When The Saints Go Marching In" music by James M. Black; lyrics by Catherine E. Purvis (1896). It's a great New Orleans funeral hymn resurrected (groan) by Fats Domino, and Bill Hayley and the Comets in the 1950's as part of the 'rock and roll' music genre.

I would listen to Hotel California, acoustic version by Eagles. Nice melody, great lyrics and it's meaningful to me. Stairway to Heaven by Clapton is a good one also, but to me it's too sad. I also like HorsePucky's When the Saints Go Marching In! Hehe.

    Thanks Bayho.

I don't think I would waste my time listening to music. I would be heading off to a rain forest or the beach, probably the beach because that's where my hubby would go and listen to the waves or the birds in the forest. (They would probably be very noisy if they suspect something was wrong.)

But if I HAD TO, that would probably be Finlandia by Jean Sibelius.
  26. Friday13
I'd listen to a funny song so I can have a last laugh.
    1. Darkblaze37
      Interesting. Weird Al perhaps?
    2. Friday13
Nah, probably Stephen Lynch, or a song like Ken Lee.

I would chant what has become a chant of farewell:

    Avo mi'oseh hashemesh:
    Ohevet Levanah oti,
    Mechappetzet Haaretz oti,
    Zokheret Otakh, Ahavati,
    Malkhah Lailah.

I came from the toiling of the Sun:
    The Moon loves me,
The Earth is impassioned with me,
    Remembering You, my Love,
    Queen of Night.

It came to me when I resisted a man who sought me for prostitution. And everywhere I have been, it has calmed in the face of fear...others as well as myself. I don't know why. But it has.

And if fear be an eternal night of the end,
    let it be in the love of the cosmos;
And let my trust remain, even if all nature slay me.
