If You Could Have A Beer With Someone Who Would It Be? Would you have a beer with the President or Someone else? On my way back from Boston today I was listening to the radio and they were asking that question, to my surprise there were quite a variety of answers.

Since we are restricted to people who are living, I choose Anthony Bourdain.

I would actually love to have a drink with him myself. I love his show. I met him in NY once--briefly.

I was actually at an art opening and he was there. I was introduced to him for a second and then he turned away and talked to someone else.

In other words, I didn't make much of an impression on him. He was kind of toasted at the time.

I think I would like to have a beer with Robert Redford. I love his films, I admire his work on the environment--and he seems like he would just be a great guy.

i would have to say Bob Dylan. the man just fascinates me. plus he played a major roll in music history. love his music and he always has something interesting to say.

    Oliver Sacks.

I love his curiousity in people, in how the brain works. And I would love to talk with him about the elements of the periodic table, where he seems to know so much about. I read that he was obsessed with that as a child, always did experiments and never left home without al the names of the elements on a piece of paper. It made him feel as if he was carrying the world with him all the time.

I love him! I fell in love with all his work when I was an early sociology/psychology student. He did some groundbreaking work.

Maybe screenwriter William Goldman. He wrote The Princess Bride (both book and screenplay) and the screenplays for Misery, Maverick, Butch & Sundance and Marathon Man.

I think I'd really enjoy talking to him about writing for screen, and adapting print for the screen.

I think having a beer with Ted Nugent would be pretty cool. Plus there's always a chance that he'll get drunk and start shooting stuff with a bow and arrow.

I’d want a beer with George Bush. Why? Because I haven’t heard from him in awhile, and I wonder…what EXACTLY is he thinking?

If Kurt Vonnegut where alive, definetly him cause he always had such smart things to stay about basically everything.

My second choice is Christopher Walkin, he so weird that I sure it would be an interesting experience
