If you had the power to change one thing in this world today, what would that be? Two words.

What is that one thing that you would change in this world today if you had the power?

I wouldn't change a thing. I know that's sort of a lame answer, but I seriously wouldn't. I don't believe in a grand scheme or anything like that, but I figure there is no point in changing one thing, because there would always be another "one thing".-

Why would my life be boring, just because I don't believe in genies and magical wishes?
I believe in actually doing things and influencing the world with your actions, not make believe stories and simply trusting that everything is "just going to work out".
The point I was trying to make is simply that, if you changed the Iran elections, their political scheme and culture would still be fragile, and another election like that would just pop up, so it really wouldn't matter, would it? -
There is not a damn thing wrong with wanting people in the world to be happy and at peace. The question was if you could,would you? I would.
You say you wouldn't change anything,and well if you don't like change then I bet u live a pretty boring life. I bet you never rearrange your furniture, I bet you wear same boring clothes day after day. I bet you have everything always planned and organized,and that is fine,just boring though. -

Now I'm sorry you got so frustrated by that comment, but I think you're off on interpreting what I said. I want people to be happy and at peace, as much as you do, I mean why wouldn't I? I just think the world has flaws, and it's these imperfections that make the world ultimately at balance. If you don't understand what I mean, then that's fine.
And as for my life, I'm sorry, I didn't attack your life-style did I? So why would you go off on me like that, I think that was really uncalled for. But I love my life and I don't feel the need to defend it to anyone, let alone someone who doesn't even know me. -

Alright then. "My kind" would probably be great drinking buddies with whomever your actually thinking of. Of course, this ignores the fact that I don't drink, but that's something you might know if you actually knew anything about me at all.

Oh whatever,I'm sorry u are a little sensitive,but with an answer like I don't believe in genies and lamps,or fairytales or whatever, you are a pesimistic person. There is nothing wrong with wanting to make a change,and you make it sound like it is. You sound just like my hubby.

Of course I'm sensitive if you attack my personal life, wouldn't you be? I just don't see how that comment can be interpreted as not wanting to change anything in the world. It wasn't my intention at least.
There is so much hate in the world that it's uncanny and that's something I definitely don't like. Instead of wishing for a magical cure for those issues I participate in real measures, like Amnesty Internationals and Unicef's struggle against these problems. I'm just one of those people who dislikes a wishing for better days, instead of actually doing something.
Again I'm not saying that you're not doing anything, cause I don't know you. But I don't think you're in any position to attack me, since you most definitely don't know me. -

In regards to the Q.
I would stop world hunger.
What a horrible thing that so many people and kids go daily without any food. Wish there was always more then enough for all no matter what part of the world they live in.
And I wish AIDS would of never happended, as so many people have suffered b/c of it.
So the 2 words are:

Well there are soooo many people who just don't care about the world,my hubby included. They just have the mindset of "I take care of me and my family" people don't open their eyes and see that there is a whole other world that doesn't revolve around them,and if everyone would just have a little heart the world would be a much better place. Period end of story.
