I have used Spottt for the past week and today I finally gave up on it.

Why? The sites that are using spot must not be given a second look after the initial OK to use. I started checking out some of the sites I was trading links with and it turns out in the first 15 sites I checked out I had sites setting off my virus software telling me that the site was trying to install a Trojan. Not only that several sites immediately redirected me to a bunch of other sites.

Spottt has an option for you to not share with some site but after I started checking out sites I ended up having to not allow sharing with 25% of them.

The sites either:
A) Tried to infect my computer
B) Redirect me to other sites (scam on affiliating)
C) Where just BS sites ripping off other peoples content.
D) Conducting illegal activities like download sites for pirated wares.
D) Putting up some ad with a chick with big boobs.

Now if I had a blog for people who liked big booties then the big booty ad that they had me exchanging links with would have been appropriate. But my blog covers computer help and is rated G.

Apparently Spottt is owned by Adbrite who advertises here. I would suggest if any employees from that service read this that they clean up their act because right now they are catering to the lowest denominator in cyberspace.

That's my 2 cents worth.
