   I can only answer as prime minister elect of Australia. I would:
   
   1. ban all guns (oops we did that in the 1990s).
   2. return to free universities (like in my day)
   3. raise the Old Age Pension to half the basic wage
   4. unionise all workers
   5. take ALL bonuses away from CEOs of banks, insurance companies etc and let them survive just on their 6-figure salaries
   6. move an AFL football team to Tasmania, since they are football fanatics down there and
   7. ban private cars from the centre of each city. Double the trams and trains instead.
   
   In my second month, I would move on to less important tasks
