I limited it to songs, because certain artists can put out a couple of awesome tunes, but then the rest of their stuff is so-so. Plus, it's more challenging to answer because it's more specific.

I would almost certainly answer this question differently every month or so, but RIGHT NOW, what are your favorites?

I would not have one if it only held 5 songs!
    1. charlottew
Me either lol. Especially at the price of Ipods!

But I'll play along. All the songs are by Nightwish:

      1. Beauty of the Beast
      2. Feel For You
      3. Sleepwalker
      4. Ghost Love Score
      5. Moondance
    2. TheBloggerExposed
Of course not. Forget the iPod, do you have some favorites?
    3. DOUGGOFFdotCOM
Yup I will play along what the hell!

      1. Guns & Roses - Paradise City

      2. Al Green - Lets Stay Together

I love this! It is hard to narrow down but I shall try. (BTW, these are my all time favorites, nothing current)

    1. Hotel California by The Eagles
    2. Against The Wind by Bob Segar
    3. Southern Cross by Crosby, Stills & Nash
    4. That Smell by Lynyrd Skynrd
    5. One Of These Nights by The Eagles

There are probably about 10 more I could shuffle around and easily add to that list. If I could only pick one artist to listen to..... hands down it would be The Eagles.
    1. TheBloggerExposed
Thanks. Although not in my top 5, I do really love "Against the Wind" and "Southern Cross" I haven't listened to those in forever!
  3. TheBloggerExposed
FORGET THE IPOD, people, if that's going to spoil the fun.

What are your current (or all-time) favorite songs?

Very tough question to answer. I spent 23 years in Broadcasting and in most of that time worked at radio stations that played what is now commonly referred to as Classic Rock. So, for my five songs I'm going to say:

    "Highway To Hell" - AC/DC
    "Free Fallin'" - Tom Petty
    "Panama" - Van Halen
"Keep On Rockin' In The Free World" - Neil Young
    "Rolene" - Moon Martin.

Ask me again in an hour. The list will be different.

"Ask me again in an hour. The list will be different."
      Thats true, same goes here.
    2. TheBloggerExposed
Yep, me too. A lot depends on my mood, so I have favorite songs from different genres. Call me weird, but sometimes there's just nothing better than a favorite song, especially when I'm driving.
    3. machinehuman
      Absolutely normal

In hollywood they always use the phrase Top Ten...

This moment's top 10 songs could be in no particular order...

    1) Beethovens Eighth Symphony(actually I'm not sure which number it is)

    2)Scott Joplin-Maple Leaf Rag

    3)sing sing sing-Gene Krupa/Benny Goodman

    4)String of Pearls-Glenn Miller

    5)Blueberry Hill-Fats Domino

    6)Under my Skin-Frank Sinatra/Count Basie

    7)California Girls...The Beach Boys...

    8)Stairway to Heaven...Led Zeppelin

    9)Perpetual Change-Yes

    10)Pretty Noose-Soundgarden

Actually it might be possible for me to pick my favorite hundred songs...

It's impossible for me to pick only 5 or 10 songs...
