I strongly recommend that you purchase it and use it.
A good starting point is to check out the Directory under the subjects that your own blog is categorized and locate other BC members who blog on the same or similar topics. You can then visit their blogs and if you like what you find you can mark the bloggers as "friends" and join the "neighborhoods" for their blogs. www.blogcatalog.com/directory
