I'm Back - Again (And an Online Diary Chronicles a Family's Transitions)

Here I am, back at Blog Catalog. It's been a while. As someone said, life intervened.

Or, more recently, death. My mother died this week, ending a long and rather unpleasant phase of her life.

My father and I, and my family, are in the process of closing a house in the Red River Valley of the North, and making arrangements to deal with his eventual death.

Sounds morbid, but it's part of family life.

So is being the father of a family household with four kids who range in age from pre-teens to mid-twenties.

I write about this family's experiences in a blog that a reader described as an online diary, "Through One Dad's Eye."

The blog gets updated daily. It's no soap opera: just what's happening as this family grows and changes.
