So my children are learning how to sew so consequently I am cross-eyed from threading those blasted needles, in this day and age, surely there is a better way (and don't say a sewing machine)

Y'know there is a little thingy that helps you do it in a jiffy

This is what crazytzu and ongchong mean
      sewing.about.com/od/notions/ss/needlethreader.htm

If you don't have one then use a magnifying glass.

Huh ... so that's how you use a needle threader. Never bothered to find out (in part because I never thought about it).

But something tells me it's unlikely a mother of a growing kid wouldn't be knowing about it already

The motive is really to promote the blog methinks

    I read somewhere
    - when a woman poses a problem, she is not looking for a solution. She needs this:

"Oh you poor dear. I know your pain. I totally do. I love you"

    - and when a man poses his questions, he needs the answers as above

:-) nice for a discussion, eh

it's not that hard to do.

Lick the end of the thread, and stick it through

That's a great piece of universal advice.
