    Congrats,

I always like Alexander, Michael, and Joseph.

Please consider what the kid will actually be called. (Alex, Mike, Joe).

I still can't figure out how we could have "Dick and Bush" in the whitehouse and the jokes weren't more prevalent.
  16. Scribblerchick
If you don't know a name by now, you're in trouble. Don't give the kid some weird name, or a name with a weird spelling. Don't name him after a state or give him a name that dictates he be "manly" like Hunter or Rocko. Nope, just give him a regular name like William or Joe or Sam or something.

Or let him pick. Write down 10 of your favorite names and put them in a hat, and let him grab one...
    1. ezalahmad
      hey scribbler
u gave me some deep thought on this. thanks for the guidance

    1. ezalahmad

    1. ezalahmad

  26. Nomadic
Good god. get OFF the internet.

    I suggest Agamemnon.
    1. ezalahmad
what does it means? is it some sort like a language? : )
    2. Jeunelle
King Agamemnon was evil and killed his own daughter by sacrificing her to a God. This was also part of the real reason why his wife Clytemestra murdered him in the bath.

Back then it was soo easy for Fathers to Murder their daughters to false Gods,
compared to sacrificing sons, as daughters were not as prized as sons.

Please do not name your son after a murderer like Agamemnon
or even Cain who killed his brother Abel, both were murderers.
    3. diabolicomix
Agamemnon wasn't t evil, just misunderstood! Agamemnon was the leader of all the Greek armies at Troy. And Clytemnestra killed him because she was having an affair with his cousin. The whole thing is because of a curse on the house of Atreus.

Also the name Agamemnon means "Great strength" in Greek.
    4. lulubelleb
      from dictionary.com -

Agamemnon: In classical mythology, the king who led the Greeks against Troy in the Trojan War. To obtain favorable winds for the Greek fleet sailing to Troy, Agamemnon sacrificed his daughter Iphigenia to the goddess Artemis and so came under a curse. After he returned home victorious, he was murdered by his wife, Clytemnestra, and her lover, Aegisthus.

    5. Jeunelle
@Diabolicomix...Agamenon had a lot of enemies
because he was a "GREAT JERK" and someone finally did him in.
Any man that murders his own daughter is evil in my book.

Hercules also had "GREAT STRENGTH" and he ended up killing both his wife and child.
Would you also name your Son after Hercules?
    6. Bonnielicious
Agamemnon is my all time favourite character from myths. I love him! And I think his name is amazing.

And also I don't see his murdering of his daughter as evil when you look at the time he "lived in" and the reason fir the sacrifice. Was all part of the era and the lifestyle.

    2. TonyB
or Garrry with 3rss...that way his friends can say "Whats up Garrrrrr"
  29. Jeunelle
    Congrats
Please do not call him Obama, George W, Dick, Bob, Jon, Cain, Jesus,
Lou Cipher aka Lucifer, Damian aka his son, there are some really good unused names hidden within the bible if you want something unusual or even regular well respected names like David, Joseph or something more today like Ian may work. Good luck with your search.
    1. ezalahmad
      ermm..
obama sound a little bit Muslim and African...however david and joseph is one of my friend's name. thanks.. now i'm confused
    2. Jeunelle
      @ezalahmad...I now have to ask
What is wrong with a Muslim or African name?
I mean would you like me less if my African name was Queen Nefertit t's?
    3. ezalahmad
      no...
i like you the way you are... just wondering
      anyway are u african
