I'm thinking about changing my name...

This may sound strange, but I'm tossing up whether or not to re~register on Blogcatalog because janeycatte is an old nickname & I don't use it anywhere else much now.
I usually sign comments at other people's blogs as "Jane @ Kidzarama", because there are so many Jane's out there and it helps me stand out.
I've only become really active on here in the last couple of weeks and I know that if I'm going to make the change, then I need to do it now, before I build up too much of a network with this username.
What does everyone else think?
Has anyone else done this, or thought about it?

But am I to understand that you are changing you name from janeycatte to just plain jane?

I was thinking of something like Jane_at_Kidzarama.
The idea of changing seems pretty lame I guess.
It's just that so is 'janeycatte'. -

My mom's name is Jane and she likes shirtless Tarzans too. My mom hates her nickname "Patty Jane."-
I had a teacher in the first year of high school who used to pretend he was swinging on a vine through the classroom and boom "you jane, me tarzan".
Believe me, it was NOT fun at the time -

No, because my mom had me when she was 15 we have a close relationship. We're like friends. She usually attacks me with tickling.

I actually just requested a name change (I mistyped my first one) , I'm hoping my existing contacts will transfer over. Seems to me that u should consider the long term and go for it. -
