India At War- 9/11 Again

Unidentified terrorists entered Mumbai by boat last night to wreak havoc on the city. The terrorists killed people at point blank range on the streets and are now holding two hotels. One is reported to be an active hostage situation.

Over a hundred people have been killed and three hundred injured.

Join India in condemning this dastardly attack and mourn the martyrs and the innocent victims.

  All terrorism is a matter of perspective. The American Revolution was several acts of terrorism, so was the French Revolution and every other uprising in our history. Terrorism while affecting civilians is only rightfully terrorism if it's purpose isn't to affect the State. Crimes against people are merely that, crimes. I am not following this story nor do i know whose side I would come down on if I got the facts, which is why terrorism is purely subjective.
  
  Here is an example you might better relate to 9/11
  The purpose of the attack was to strike out against the US government by people who have been subjugated by US actions for decades. Were they committing crimes against people, or were the fighting an oppressor?

As an Indian, I find the international response very heartening indeed.
It feels good that the world is treating India as an equal in this war, rather than as an irresponsible deliquent with nuclear weapons, as was the case during the time of the sanctions.
