On the glamor side, India is more globalized than before. Most sectors are open to foreign investment and capital from other countries flows very free. Indeed, there is much happening in India. Look at the infrastructure projects, the R&D (research and development), the work happening in rural areas, banks, IT sector, government, telecom sector, BPOs—everyone is busy, taking the growth to every rural household. In sharp contrast to this, there are masses of corrugated-roofed slums clustered behind the scenes Such a scarcely viable image for a country can be seen even at its commercial capital Mumbai that has set Shanghai as its role model. Look some more deep…!!! There can be seen a thriving spirit in the totality of such a vast country. It is trying to express a very genuine individuality, sometimes more composed and at other times, dangerously vigorous. India Inside is a simple attempt to go inside these rare varieties.

I like the sliding bar on your blog...nice!
O.K., back on topic...it's amazing in India how there is abject poverty right next to those sucessful infrastructure projects. Uplifting the poor will take a long time in India.
