    It is very sad the personal sacrafices the citizens of Israel must make because of those who refuse to allow the exsistence of Israel and who disrupt the attempts to create peace in the Middle East...

      That was fast. How does it work? Longer periods of training once a year and then shorter stints like this more frequently?

      Does this mean you missed some 60th anniversary festivities?

      My average year consists of:
      ~3-4 days of infantry training.
      ~10-25 days of security missions.
      ~5-12 days of artillery training.
      ~1-2 days of lessens in a classroom.

      For how many years do you have to participate at this level of activity?

      Army reserve duty starts here at ~21 and ends at ~40.
      I'm almost 34.
