Hanlon's Law clearly states: Never attribute malice to that which is explainable by sheer stupidity. Which applies to these insurance fraud zanies? Surely there are ideas on the subject out there. Would you set your mother on fire for #1,000,000?

I wouldn't recommend it unless you had absolutely nothing else to do, but if you find some time on your hands go spend some time with a Commercial Lines claims adjuster, and ask him or her what they're seeing out there. For the price of a beer they will tell you of the depths of human depravity... and stupidity since almost all of the dweebs of insurance fraud eventual get caught.

Got a comment in today from a guy who said he would not try to blow up his father (as reported in my post on insurance fraud), but might like to set his mother in law on fire?

Have any of you ever had the urge to set your mother in law on fire? (I believe that's illegal in most states)
