From time to time, I've gone to our local hole-in-the-wall to participate in karaoke. One night, while I was singing, a casual acquaintance danced provocatively right in front of me while I was singing. When I finished and walked back to my wife, she teased, "Looks like you've got yourself a groupie." The same girl was banned from the bar a few weeks later for smashing a bottle and threatening the bartender with the shards.

Anyone else have interesting karaoke experience?

I use to win the contest they had and got hit on by a 50 year old married man once and that is about it. I always was the designated driver so I never got to drink

    Sorry about that.

She was a trifle frightening. She works at a local grocery store...when my wife and I see her, we move down about eight checkout lanes.

    no groupie for you then

every karaoke experience I've had has been interesting, just not pleasant. Poor people who had to listen to me. I have no talent but I do have enthusiasm, especially with a couple of vodka and tonics in me. It's not a good thing that I know all the words to too many Janis Joplin songs and my Tom Petty/Bob Dylan impression really only amuses me and my man and him only because he wants to stay on the fun side of me.

all of my karaoke experiences are lost in a drunken haze so I really don't remember!
