   Its in the way that you use it (Isn't that a song?) People seem to ignore banner ads at the top and right side. Fortunately, you can use text links that are much more effective. The exception to the rule is if you are selling to teens, they like blinking ads, "Oooh pretty".
   As with any advertising, Know your audience. Don't have Insurance ads on a blog about clothing. But yes, you can make money with affiliates.
