Is Anyone using Adsense Manager In WP?

Ok im not very cluee at all with adsense so i hope i make sense.. Ive just upgraded my blog from blogcast to wp and have installed the plugin "Adsense Manager" (3.2.13) and i cannot get the ads to display on my homepage or pages. Atm its showing only PSA both on the home page and my about me page. In individual posts adsense is displaying OK, so i dont know whats up. I read bits and pieces in the wp forum and it seems others have been having the same problem, but the solution wasnt posted as they must of resolved it thru emailing instead. Ive searched everywhere for the fix but cant seem to find what i should be doing. I feel I have followed the instructions OK, So I was wondering if any of you have had the same problem?
How can I get adsense to display on my homepage and about me page?

it is an okay plugin but I much prefer to hand code the ads into my theme so I know it always looks right and displays properly. What the is happening to you at the moment is the ads aren't seeing any keywords of value, try hand coding the theme instead...

  not sure what you mean.. do you mean not using adsense manager and just adding the code straight into the sidebar? if you mean this i have tried that and it still does work

i used Adsense plugin by Phil Hord. very easy to install and put in your post.

I use it and it works great you choose where the ad will show up, it takes a few page refreshes for it to find the best placement.....

  ive refreshed so many times too.. still doesnt appear.. in the end.. i just disable it for the homepage and pages and just leave enabled for posts.. dont know why in posts it works fine.. yet on my other blog (AWP) it works great in the homepage.. im hoping someone here has had the same problem and can let me know what to do to fix it.. im thinking perhaps theres a conflict with some code there.. thx for all your replies..
