Im actually probably closing my stock account online next year. I really had enough. I know people make money and all, but the thought of crooks running these companies while investors lost all their money, and they have so many homes they can't even count them... million dollar bonuses... Enough is enough.

Until someone does something about it, I am out of the trading game. I feel like my pockets are being picked clean even though I am at home. Some president we elect someday has to be brave enough to change the laws.

Please do not give up on capitalism ... these things go through bad times just like everything else. Sometime in the future a new day will dawn!

Don't like staying in stock market for days, used to daytrade but now I work as employee so cannot daytrade anymore. May look at options in the future or at forex as alternatives

My traditional IRA is set as a very aggressive porfolio and has rebounded almost 25% in the past month.

Which means I am still down about 30% from what I put in.

It will rebound nicely soon. My Mom stopped contributing to her 401k. Told her she was crazy it was the best time to keep putting money in but she was in a panic. She doesn't understand the market though.

Don't forget Stock Market is mostly a Zero sum game. When someone wins others lose. And those who win are mostly of course the pros or the lucky ones that's why education is necessary and those who think that their retirement is safe because some fund managers look after it will get hugely desillusioned. You must get knowledge to care about your own money.

A guy became a billionaire by picking stocks at the bottom of 2002. A few months ago he commit suicide because he lost all. His picks were pure luck.

      What is important is consistency.
